Die Hobbyking® ™ Y4 Scorpion Micro Multirotor-Rahmen ist ein hochwertiges Glasfaserrahmen, der sowohl eine tolle Optik und Leistung bietet. Erbaut aus leichtem und dennoch extrem steife Glasfaser und Kohlenstoff bietet das Y4 eine großartige Kombination aus Gewichtsersparnis und Stärke.

Der Y4 Scorpion Styling macht es aussehen wie eine tödliche Kreatur als ein Multi-Rotorrahmen, während immer noch eine ausgezeichnete Funktionalität und Leistung bieten! Der Scorpion ist auch mit 4 x 2900kv Brushless Outrunner Motoren geliefert, die an diesem Rahmen perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt sind, aus dem Antriebsstrang die Mutmaßungen helfen nehmen.

Diese Multi-Rotorrahmen für den Einsatz in der "Y-4" Konfiguration unter Verwendung von 4 Motoren ausgelegt ist (2 an der Vorderseite montiert, 1 auf jedem Arm und zwei an der Rückseite für Gier- und Aufzugssteuerung montiert), bieten wir auch eine komplette Linie von Multirotor-Elektronik wie Steuerplatine, ESC, Batterien und vieles mehr, so ist es nie einfacher oder günstiger gewesen, ein Multi-Rotor in die Luft zu bekommen!

Nice little copter. Took me about 20 minutes to assemble the frame. The instructions are a little blurred, so it was kind of difficult to tell which parts you needed, because several are similar in size. Also, make sure you glue the tale AFTER you mount the motors to it. If you glue it first, then you won't be able to get the screws in. ALSO, it doesn't come with screws for the motors. The motors need 2mm adapters for propellers. The overall construction is good. Some parts are a bit tight, and hard to get all the way together. The frame is pretty solid after you get it together. The regular kk2.1 is too big for this little frame. I would go with the kk mini, or naze32, or equivalent in size flight controller. There is not much room for electronics on the body.

Flight review!

First off, no CG indicated in the skimpy plans! I used a ballpark from the position of the big brother (Y650 Scorpion).

It flies fairly nicely. Because of its size and weight, handles hard landings (crashes ;-) very nicely - nothing broken. Also due to its weight, it's VERY responsive. by the time you desensitize the gyros to where they're not oscillating you don't really have a "hands off" hover and always have to keep the corrections up.

If there's anything negative - and this will take more testing to try to work out what's happening - it's that the rudder seems almost ineffective. Just doesn't want to yaw. I did notice that one of the 2 motors on the back stops sooner than the other 3, it's possible it's not spinning as fast - not enough torque to yaw the little thing.

By the way, I'm using the Atmega 328 PA V3 board. Kind of large but was left over after I replaced the board on the 650 Scorpion (with the LCD one). If you use this board, don't flash the most current version of firmware, use the next one down (4.5 I think). The most current one doesn't work.
