This servo is fine for 450 PRO tail. It isfast enough, very little slope and centers well. It has metal housing in the middle where motor is mounted, so cooling is better. It is very similar to this good plastic gear servo: HK15158A Digital BB/Coreless Mini Servo 25g / 2.8kg / 0.07s , only with metal gear and metal-alu middle housing... Bye

I'm using 3 of these now on a 450L Pro, GT450L and a 500DFC Pro. All work very well and run cool, even after a hard 3d flight. All 3 are using a VBar. In my opinion it's a better servo than the Align DS520.

I'm using this on the tail of my HK500, running directly off a 2s LiFe RX pack, and using a FuBar FBL controller. It give me a rock solid tail, and stays cool. It's a perfect fit in the 500, and the case seems durable. It's survived a few crashes, along with the HK752 cyclic servos unharmed. Definitely a great servo for the money AFAIC.

I struggled to get rid of binding in the HK500 tail, and any binding will cause the tail servo to heat up. You need to check for binding with the servo disconnected and the heli spooled up without the main blades, moving the tail linkage by hand.

this servo is very, very and very very hot! at point that you cannot put you finger on it after 2 min of flight!!! I already tryed it on hk 500GT with ALIGN 3G, 3GX and ZYX FBL TAROT, all they have the same heat... it still not burned, but I think better get out it from my helis. Where have hot maybe can have FIRE!... faraway from me!!! heheheh

recieved few days ago.centring is good.speed is good.im using it on my hk500 heli tail with spartan gyro.tail is rock solid,sport flying and mild 3d.servo is getting very hot after 3min,but still holding the tail,i have done 5 flights till now,lets see if it holds for long time
