So Far It Works Great

I bought this because I routinely need to charge more than one battery at a time. The unit works well and is easy to use. The only complaint and its small, is that the selector wheel is very sensitive so that when you are selecting battery size and amperage, it rolls past what you want easily. After making the selections, you push down on the wheel. It is easy to accidentally turn the wheel as you are pressing downward and then it changes what you selected. Again, this is a minor nuisance. Overall, I'm happy with this charger.

Surprisingly good charger

Bought this charger to replace a high-end 2 channel 500W charger. It works better then the 3 times more expencive charger, and has double the power. Settings are a breeze, the menu is very intuitive. The HOTA F6 has no battery memmory's like the old charger, but I don't miss them. Cell count is automaticly detected, and setting parameters is verry easy. The set parameters are then copied to the next channel you want to use. Verry convenient when charging pultiple battery's with the same specs. I fully recommend this powerfull and versitile charger!

its a fantastic little charger, i was surprised at what it can do very easy to handle, almost works by its self, Balances and charges at same time, purchased two of them, it bought back from the dead not al but some of my lipo's

Great product - superb flexibility, power & a great interface. Watch out if buying from mainland Europe if in the UK. I got stung with import taxes and VAT on £160 order .... Hobbyking will be dead to me if they do not sort out a dedicated UK Centre

Verry nifty little charger!

I received my F6 e few days ago and am verry happy with it. It's amayzing how much technology Hota can put in such a little box. I bought it as a replacement for my chunky and heavy 2 chanel 300 Watt charger, this F6 is in a different league!
The charger is well build, and operating it is verry straight forward. The menu is self explanitory, I didn't need the manual at all. The display has all the information you need, especially if you switch to single channel display. It's verry versitile and charges all the batteries currently known to man. It's rediculous that you can charge 4x 250 Watts with this compact box! The charging results are fast and accurate, the batterypacks balance verry well, and if you let them sit out the trickle charge cycle after finishing the main charge the cells are within 0,002 Volt of each other!
I only noticed that it's best to check the calibration of the four channels with a three digit volt meter. My F6 had a 0.005 to 0.015 Volt deviation on several balance outputs. And a little dissapointing is the discharge, using internal discharge it only can dissipate 10 Watt. For an acceptable discharge time you definitely need to use the external discharging feature.
