high quality fiberglass and carbon construction. bolted together right out of the box in a few minutes. basically glue in servos, horns and motor mount balance and fly. No instructions so check out wilco build log. flew mine with a 480 watt in runner and gearbox for a warmliner/ DS trainer effect. flew great as a warmliner ,light good soaring. did well at DS. seemed plenty strong, flew in very violent choppy air at 100-150 mph. great to have an electric so when you miss the groove you don't have to hike down wind to retrieve... just power up and fly back. broke on landing crash so as well as wing repairs I am adding flaps to help with those tight landings at the slope. try turnigy metal cased metal geared wing servos and the high end metalgear turnigy 12 gram servo for the tail. Have the new 850 watt turnigy sailplane outrunner coming to try! can,t wait.

I own a few high-end hotliners/F5D planes. I knew I wanted this a second ship, so i ordered it. When I opened the undamaged shipping box. I found the wing securly taped down to prevent movement, and there was at least 3-4 inchs of space on either side of the wing. Once I removed the wrapping from the wing, I found the entire right wing-tip creased and broken. SO Disappointed. Someone else previously in this group had a similar issue. Because of absolutely no box damage, and the wing secured inside the box with tape tp prevent shifting, it is obvious that the wing was damaged before being boxed. These must be "seconds". Now HobbyKing wants me to pay shipping to return it???? Slim chances on an more being re-stocked

Glider arrived today, and is beautifully made. Sadly the wing has the last 1/3rd broken on one side during freight, where the wing was bent back excessively. What a shame.

Hi All, the inertia is my first hotline styled glider I used 36mm can type outrunner with alloy folding prop but had to order 5mm alloy spinner and a 3mm plastic spinner with blade size to suit.

On initial inspection, everything is very high quality and precise. However, my wingtip was damaged in transit. Slightly creased and with some minor cracking in the fiberglass. Nothing a little resin or epoxy can't fix. Aside from that, it is very well made and has a great finish. The hatch under the wing needs a little trimming to fit anything over 4s. Even a 4s 2200 is a tough squeeze through the opening. A longer/narrower 4s 2650mah fits well. If it weren't for the the damage in transit, I would have given it 5 stars, but ultimately you can't fault the plane itself for that...

I purchased the Inertia for the express purpose of DSing it and I'm very pleased with the way it performs, especially considering how cheap it is. Servos are 555's in the wings and an HS-65MG in the tail for the elevator. I also made a wooden plug for the nose and glassed and painted it. Just finished assembling and putting on some flights on this and it is fantastic. I used the Hotliner DT38 motor, 125A ESC and a 5S2200mAh battery with a 13x8 folding prop. Climb rate is incredible. Yes the hotliner motor is not a direct fit in the nose but I cut some cooling holes in the side an epoxied the motor in with some micro balloons and it has worked out nicely so far. I did have to trim the nose a few mm to get the spinner to fit. The 13x8 is not enough prop for this setup, I can probably step up the size and pitch as with this setup for even higher climb rate and speed. I am measuring ~50A and ~900W input. The motor and ESC can take higher. Since I am already on 5S, I can only step up the prop.

Mine just arrived via ups today, two business days after ordering it! Seems HK isn't always slow to deliver. Perhaps it helps to live within 200 miles of the warehouse.

As for the Inertia glider, I am completely blown away! Over the weekend I had smashed my Seagull 2000 glider to bits so I purchased this as a replacement. While only slightly more expensive then the Seagull, this glider is at a completely new level of quality and strength.

Being new to the hobby I don't have a lot of experience but I am a bit of a perfectionist. With that said the Inertia is incredible, I can't find anything to fault. It is so rare that I feel this way it compelled me to write this review.

I can hardly wait to put the motor and electronics in and get it into the air.

Top notch. I've had a few Czech made gliders and this one is just as nice if not nicer! Ultra smooth finish. Fit and finish is first class. Pre threaded brass control horns. Cool.
