Great bang for your buck

I got this Quad after I lost my KK Hex version when being stupid. I find this quad is nimble enough and good for learning on. Pretty quick too. I had heavy batteries so I could get long flight time and will soon try some lighter 4S batts and I'm expecting good things in terms of a speed increase. I love the librepilot/CC3D FC, and overall it is well balanced.
The frame however is brittle, and the main let down of this product. I slow bump will snap an arm so get your superglue and epoxy ready. I've got to the point of using fibreglass repairs over the superglued break point. Also the feet fall off, a design fail indeed. I had to make my own landing pads.
But for the price, it's a great start quad and certainly a bucket load of fun. Just try not to crash it too hard.

Great package for those testing the sport

Very easy set up that took a total of 45 mins including flashing the cc3d through librepilot. The set up as is handles like a bus so I would recommend changing it for racing. My value rating is based on the summer sale price and at the current price I would give this a 4 star.

Great quad for intro into FPV racing!!!

Bought this to get used to flying the faster FPV type quads. It performed great right out of the box. Did have to go online to get some direction on how to program and get current firmware. Overall this is a great little 260 quad!!!! Very happy!

It's ok, but a few design mistakes

It's a very nice quad in overall, maybe for beginners ?
But, the landing thing/feet keep falling apart, and inevitably you loose them.
Once you lost enough foots, then you land on the ESC, because some sort of genius thought it was a good to install the ESC under the frame.
The ESC do not like to be used as landing pads, so they break.
Broken ESC burn motors (literally).
Replacing ESC on this frame is super annoying cause you have to unsolder ALL OF THEM
I'm not super happy about this.

Great little quad for a beginner multirotor pilot. This was my first quadcopter and it defenitely facilitated a great introduction to multirotor flight as well as some great fun once I became more confident.

My only major criticism is the frame. It's quite brittle and once an arm is gone it is a pain to re-attach. I will shortly be migrating this hardware to a new body.

She came just few days ago, cc3d controller is really easy to setup , I checked if the ESCs were all linked as they should and I went for a fly ... I like the feeling she gives, I like the sound of her engine ... I like the green lime LEDs on the back , she can be really faster , all I need now is learn how became good for her , using the right power while turning ... it'll take his time , but since she made me confident with the whole space around me , I'll be keen to do it. I'm feeling in love

upon receiving this item everything was looking great. I downloaded the CC3D ground station program on my laptop. The setup wizard has easy to follow directions and once done I set my default parameters and how I wanted to arm it and BAM the thing flies like a dream! I've flown it with a bunch of different batteries, below will be the battery type and how well it did. BTW the winds were really heavy and choppy today so it was fighting a hefty wind. and still performed great enough to pull off a lazy back flip.
FYI there is no low voltage warning the speed controllers will just execute the low voltage cut off.. I highly recommend timing your flight times with low altitude maneuvers until you know how long each battery lasts so you will avoid a crash!

3s 2200mah 40c- lots of power- battery was warm but not hot- 11min flight time
3s 2200mah 25c- decent power- battery was hott after flight- 6 min flight time
3s 1000mah 30c- decent power- battery was warm but not hot- 5min flight time
2s 5000mah 25c- gutless! full throttle it barely climbed (this battery was from my stadium truck)

so in reflection stay with a 3s lipo with at least a 30c rating. I cant wait to try a 4s lipo in this quick and nimble thing! ive been told these 250 class quads like between a 1300mah and 1600 mah battery with a high "c" rating
