I was a bit disappointed with quality of some parts and preassembly. Here are a few examples:
- EPO parts are distorted (wing, fin)
- bended shaft of duct fan - propeller is touching duct and makes strange noise. As the duct fan is glued in the fuselage it is not possible to correct it.
- servo arms are not perpendicular to the servo housing in middle position. As the servos are glued in the wing it is not possible to correct it without damage of the wing.
Finaly - it is nice model but would be better to sell it not preassembled. It is much easier to correct some inacuracy or distortion on the single part than on the assembly.

The plane arrived with the back of the plane (the exhaust) crushed but rebuildable, however no hardware was included. What should have been as simple as attaching the tail and wing then adding a receiver became a weekend project as I rebuild the plane due to poor packing/shipping, reglue things half ass done originally and find hardware that should have been included. While trial fitting the horizontal stab, I discovered the fit was too tight to allow any down elevator w/o trimming foam leaving a white scar on the blue plane.

While the plane looks nice, it's already leaving a bad taste in my mouth and I haven't even flown it yet.

Great Fun EDF 30 minutes and she was ready to go! Flies nice when set up right. fitted a 1000mah 3s in the front. Had to modify canopy fitted to fit that size battery. But the aircraft does need that extra weight in the front.

Great little plane! I have bought a lot of Hobbyking aircrafts and this is the one thats worked the best. I reinforced the wing whit a carbon fiber spar that I did a trench for in the wing and then glued it to prevent the wing from flexing, and it worked.

Power setup and servos was good, enough power to fly really fast. I have a 3s 1000mah lipo all the way forward and whit that setup it still was a littel bit tail heavy.

I did put in an orange 6 channel receiver with gyro and it gave the plane little extra stability and it flies straight in the air whit no spasms in the air.

If you are thinking of getting this edf then just get it. Very easy launch, floats nicely at half throttle, sounds cool at full throttle and even inverted is a breeze. Only negatives are that it does not come with any battery connector.
Overall, get one while they are in stock.

Part of the tail foam was broken on arrival, but HobbyKing did a good job of making it right.
I glued it back on, then I found that the motor was mounted upside down. The wires were facing up. It took about 15 minutes to flip the motor. Also, the two screws that hold the wing on were too short when using the plastic washers, so I had to use some different ones.
I also mounted the ESC back from the suggested spot and faced the heat sink up. My theory is that it will be cooler being exposed to the airflow.
Although this is my first EDF, I'm glad this was not my first plane because the modifications would have been a bit daunting.

What a fun parkflyer! Hand launch and belly land an you will love this plane. I built mine in 10 minutes and have flown for hours. The only issue I had was an aileron control came off mid-air. After a little correction and an early landing I was back up in a few minutes. Be careful because this is a small plane with blue top and bottom...don't get confused.

Excelent flying plane once you do a bit of surgery. Cut slots and remounted servo arms to point up and moved everything to the top of the wing so it can belly land without damaging the servos and the edf was way out of ballance. Other than that it flew very straight. Not the fastest but still has enough to do slow rolls.
NOTE !!!! Does not come with a battery connector. Great value for money and surprisingly easy to hand launch and fly.
