Howdy Pilots, as per my other reviews of Skyangel models, this one is by far the best little model I have flown. It is my current favourite out of the 38 planes I have in my hanger. It flies beautifully and landings are effortless due to the gliding capabilities of this model.
I installed a 50mm alloy EDF unit from RC Land-r which is the same unit HK sell, added a 35amp speed controller from HK and a 4 cell 100mAh Turnigy lipo. COG was almost perfect but I would give the elevators a little negative neutral position as she has a tendency to nose up when thrust was increased. The wings being so thin have the likelihood of being distorted when bundling by HK staff but with a little hot water and minimal effort, this problem can be cured. I gave this model 5 crowns on every rating but I would have given it a 7 if I could. Do yourselves a favour and get one, you will not be disappointed. Blue skies... Allan.

Hi !

I've ordered one a few weeks ago and received one week later.
It's a very nice little L-39.
I thing Hk could use stronger box or bubble film to wrap the pieces because the plane suffered several minor impacts while coming from HK to France.
Use 5gr servo (the servo pits looks to be done for HXT500)
I think to convert it as a pusher jet

Superb quality airframe kit. This is what all the 50mm EDF kits should be!<br>

Absolute bargain price and now includes canopy and pushrods and linkages. The only thing missing are the decals.<br>

Mine came superbly packaged and no warps or bends or breaks in the airframe what-so-ever. I'm very satisfied. Have bought more (T-45 and T-33) already.<br>

For those that don't know, this is the airframe kit of the PNF version of the mini L-39. There are no electronics, motor or EDF unit.<br>
