Great little plane, wing span is 760mm, hand launches nicely, heaps of power with 3s 1300 and good power on a 2s 1000, I fitted the rudder servo, and put the turnigy mini mems gyro for ailerons stability.

In the air it is fast when you throttle up and while not docile it is comfortable at 1/2 to 5/8 throttle, climbs vertically indef. with 3s.

Definitely for the more experienced flyer, no probs up to 10kts wind and on your toes at 20kts but still very flyable.

Elevator was a bit twitchy on maiden flight, but once dual rates and expo programmed in, it was very nice.

The 3 blade prop makes a very cool sound with motor harmonics at 2/3 throttle.

All in all, I would definitely recommend for the intermediate and advanced pilot.

Nice looking plane with great details but nose heavy out of the box. Need to do the canopy hatch mod to fit a 3s 1000mah that's the best way to get the correct CG. Hard to fly this plane, not for beginners. Motor and ESC are a good combo, the motor has a lot of potential with a 2 blade prop

This was my first RC model from Hobbyking. The impression I have from the kit is very good: easy to assemble and all the stuff you need to finish it (except of course the radio). My mini P47 is finished for a couple of weeks and it's so good looking that Iam afraid to take it to fly and ruin it. The fact is, that although being a bad RC pilot for some years (I had some very traumatic experiences with combustion models) I have a great passion for this hobby that can give us great joy or great disapointing. I have my share part of this last one. I know this model isn't the most suitable for someone with my poor skills, but I hope with this beauty my tide starts to move and very soon I can be here writing "Hey guys, the experience was so good that I bought the big P47"!

well i got this the other day and it looks fantastic. I used a 1.0 nano tech 2c and it flies excellent. I gotta say tht this is not a beginner plane as some reviews state. I am a beginner and it was difficult to fly for a first timer. Needless to say it hit the ground after about 3 mins and broke the wing/prop/and the motor took a whack. I have repaied it and it still flies well. Ill be getting another one very soon. Top marks though. great build and looks great, just not a great pilot flying it!
