I maidened my new 800mm Spitfire yesterday. It flew really well. I think that it is the fastest out of all my 800mm warbirds. It is very small and sleek compared to the others, and lighter too, so the power to weight ratio is good. It was really good fun to fly. I would say that it sits between the P-51 and P-40 for landing characteristics. It doesn't float on in like the P-51 does, but its stall speed is a bit higher than the P-40 which makes it a bit easier to land.

Very aerobatic airframe. I highly reccomend.

It needed a bit of extra weight up front to get the cg right, even with a Turnigy 1000mah 3s 25c battery stuffed all the way up the end of the battery bay, and I needed to carve some foam out to fit in my reciever which was a bulky Turnigy 9x one.

This spitfire is amazing : very good looking in the sky, very powerful motor (with 3s 1000mAh) but it can also fly with a very low speed!
Very good plane with a very low price! :-)

wow factor on opening box. not as pink as photo IMHO this near enough to the early spits battle of britain "flat earth" brown I had hoped for. Might get another to hang up as display as this is sure to get Knocked about a little. Will draw some reacted wheels ends and closed UC doors under wing with a felt tip pen. Now lets see if it flies....

Die Spifire fliegt absolut super mit 3s 1000mA. Schwerpunkt ca.48mm von Vorderkante Tragflche. berraschend gute Langsamflugeigenschaften, man kann das Hhenruder bei stehendem Motor langsam durchziehen und mit den Querrudern lange das abkippen verhindern. Landungen sind absolut unkritisch.

Vorsicht bei den Ruderausschlgen, Hhenruder max. 3mm.

Fantastic little plane. flew straight out of the box no modifications required. Am using Zippy 2s 1000mah batteries. Perfectly balanced and very easy to fly. Excellent value. Have placed order for the ME 109. Well done HK.

I've received my Spitfire within 3 days.. very good especially in Xmas time. The package was all good, nothing was missing or broken. I did a few flight and I have to say it was great! I'm a beginner regarding RC flight and I dropped / crashed this beauty many times.. I had even broke it into half once.. (crashed with full speed from about 30m, right into the nose). Only some part of the body and the motor mount / spinner broke, but it was easy to repair and flying just as before the crash. It is really a though one! It is looks now as a real warbird.. with many small scratch and injures.. just as it would came back from a real war. :) I love it!! Highly recommended!

Very nice plane, even nicer than on the picture. I recommend installing 4.servo (rudder). So about 30 min of building time. Certainly can use 3 cell lipo batt. Do not fly it to slow, will stall and crash. No problem flying with 1/2 throttle. Fly's excellent!!I used 750 3cell rhino about 8 min of flight.Before first flight check glued parts if they are glued strong enough-my was not enough.If I did not notice that error, the wing would brake off in the air,..so there fore quality 3 stars. Highly recommended.
