Got these on sale for $5 and they are okay. I wouldn't pay full price for them but on sale sure. The motors are pretty well balanced but bearings do wear after a little bit. Also the motor wires are not silicone wires they are the same enamel copper wire that the motor its wrapped with. Probably wouldn't cost much more to add better bearings and better wires.

what a deal, sure they have crappy bearings, just open them up, grease the bearings, locktite the grub screw and they are ready to go for many flights. clean and grease the bearings every now and then and you cant beat these. bearings go bad? just throw in another motor, at these prices who cares. plenty of power on my 400 quad and very smooth

Average outrunner, I guess you get what you pay for. By the first or second flight the bearings already have movement and motor starts making noises, still seem to function ok but for how long?

These motors are terrible! I used them on my quad and all the bearings broke within the first few flights ad they are super loud. After around 10 flights or so the bullet connectors started to break of and fall off the quad. I would recommend to stay away from ntm in general, waste of time and money.

i use this 1200kv motors in my Dart 400 quad. performance is fantastic. I put scorpion oil in the bearings so they are ok for now. After 3 months the bearings still sound okay but not very smooth. It works well with my F-20A esc with simonk fw. 8 inch carbon filled props work well on 3s and 4s lipo and it does not even get warm. Will have to try the multistars if these motors fail. APC mr props also work very well with these motors. the 8045SF props cause too much vibration so i don't use them with these anymore.

I am using four of these motors in a quad and they have been fantastic, the amount of power that these little motors put out is very impressive. My one complaint is that one of the motors has a bearing going out and it sounds like a can of rocks in there. However it is still working just fine for now... Over all I would highly recommend this motor!

Bought these motors for my very first quad. Super impressed, took all the impacts and crashes I dished out at them and then some. Can't beat these bad boys for the price. Would have given 5 stars but the writing on the side rusted on me, otherwise, 2 years of use and going strong.
