Der OrangeRX schaltbare 2.4Ghz Sendermodul bietet eine einfache, bequeme und kostengünstige Möglichkeit, Ihre Modul-basierte JR / Turnigy kompatiblen Sender zu nutzen. Im Gegensatz zu Standardmodulen, die eine feste Protokoll dieses Gerät haben kann zwischen DSM2 (1024/22 ms, 2048 / 11ms), DSMX (22ms, 11ms) oder Walkera kompatible Protokolle geschaltet werden.

Das Modul verfügt über 4 wählbare Leistungsstufen. Einfach die vorhandene Modul entfernen, schließen Sie das OrangeRX umschaltbare Modul und Sie sind bereit zu irgendwelchen DSMX, DSM2 oder Walkera kompatible Empfänger zu binden. Ein weiteres Merkmal dieser hervorragenden Modul ist, dass es wählbare Kanalzuordnung für entweder AETR oder TAER hat.

Works as expected - no problems with OrangeRX Rx and most of Spektrum DSM2/DSMX Rx.
But cannot be used with HH UMX Models (with Ar6xxxx) - no response on throttle !? Ail, Elev, Rud are working as expected, but no throttle ..
Does anyone know a solution for this?
Note: a first generation ORx JR Module does the job as expected, so this is only a issue of the new generation module

Hatte gehofft dass, das Devo mit meinem Modell UMX AS3Xtra von E-filte geht. Leider nein. Gaskanal geht nicht.

Not fit for TGY9X without modifications. Square hole around pins on case back is too small for 9X (9X have tall plastic pins support around metal pins). I'am cut a lot of plastic frome case to make it fit into place. I'am also have 9XR and this module fit into it without any modifications (9XR have longer pins without any plastic support).

I found this module to work well. With the Taranis, easy set up, I bound it to an integrated dsmx receiver on the quanum pico first time, and also to 1 spektrum and another orange rx.

Have had this Tx for a few months and just found out that you cannot use it unless your receivers are all the same mode ie DSM2 or DSMX. when this transmit module is set for Auto detect, it will set itself for the last mode that it bound it's last receiver to. I have 2 orange receivers, an R1020x 10ch which auto binds in DSMX mode & an R615X 6ch which auto binds in DSM2 mode so if I bind the 10ch first then the 6 channel, I can use the 6 channel but not the 10 channel. Same if I bind the 10ch last then I can't go back to the 6 ch while its in auto mode. You have to shut off the radio, remove the TX module and set it to manual & also the mode you need with the dip switches to access the receiver you did the first bind on. Older versions of this type Tx allowed you to switch modes by pressing the bind button quickly 3 times but this one doesn't work that way.

It works poorly. frequently needs to be rebound to model (sometimes just swapping a battery) other times i have to turn the external RF module on and off several times for the models to start responding to inputs

I bind it with a Spektrum DSM2 ladybird (all switches to their default value:OFF). It works as advertised. I opened the module and check the soldering with a binocular: it is clean and OK. So far, so good. Very happy for the price.
For OpenTX (2.0.17 or greater) users, the correct settings is: Protocol: PPM / Channels: 1-8 / Frame length: 22.5ms / Polarity: positive / PPM delay: 300us

Using DSM2, I can get it to bind in 1024/22ms mode (only switch 3 on), however, sometimes it takes several tries to bind it and the transmitter and the receiver don't remember each other from previous binds so I need to try a couple of times each time.

I hope these problems can be fixed via firmware updates soon to make this a usable product. Reports of using the transmitter with standalone receivers (both DSM2 and DSMX) seem to be fine even though I have not tried these personally.

I only got 800' range using when when the light goes out. The throttle went to full at 500' when moving the airplane. There was no difference in range when the bind switch was pressed. The power is not reduced to 1mw when the bind button is pressed. If it was the range would be about 5', since that is 70-1 divided by 2, because 4x the power is needed to get twice the range. The range test is completely false. It just feel good. Even if it does like the manual says, that is not good. A range test has to be negative not positive. You should be able to move out of range and the rec. quits. This is a very bad system and should only be used for park flying. Fail safe says it will go to the position at bind. The surfaces do stay straight, but the throttle went to high on an electric. Dangerous. I will try putting the throttle on high to see if it reverses.
