After 8 months on backorder (eurowarehouse) i bought it in China. Same week it was in stock in Germany, so now i have two... just in case something goes wrong ;-). Quality is outstanding. It's a smooth very strong reinforced plane. Even better then premium brands costing at least twice as much. Takes a lot of building time and experience to build. But man, what a good looking / big bird considering the money. I will fly it initially with a powerfull 800kv outrunner on 4s 5000 40c, 80A esc with 12x10 prop. I expect it to fly as an Accipiter. Update as soon as it is airborn.

Come on HK. This item is out of stock for over 7 months!!

Policy says "out of stock items will be in stock in 3-4 weeks". Come on HYK i want to fly this beauty!!

I received the fuselage broken

I made a claim and they told me that they send a new one

The order was on october 2010, and at the moment (september 2011) they don't do that

I sended too many email without any response

I think it's too seriosless from them

Super Modell. Ich fliege es mit einem 60 amp Turnigy Regler, einem 5Zellen Akku von Zippy, einem Prop 12X6 und mit einem Turnigy-Motor (TR 35-48-C 800kv Brushless Outrunner Eq: AXi 2826).

Good build, had to reinforce a few problem areas

If using retracts Used HKD-514 heavier one for max landing weight =need to add some carbon into wings to support the retracts from pulling out,

Note, It will nose over on landing = so are not really a success, wheels need to be furthur forward

Main undercarrige need to reinforce wire wheel landing gear is very weak on grass,

Tail wheel tears off, need to upgrade mount, rudder horn mount pulls out of foam, need to reinforce

Components used in the build

motor used SK 42-50

ESC turnigy plush 80A

used 5000Mah 6 Cell which I have on hand for other models

Prop, Master Airscrew Electric 12X8 really suits this motor

Servos used Metal Geared MG-16 Hextronic



For maiden flight used used Aileron 60pcnt Rates 20pcntExpo

Elevator 50pcnt 20pcnt Expo

Rudder Full Rates 10pcnt Expo

Will fly very fast with no sign of droping a wing, floats well, knife edges are good, will harrier and torq roll in the verticle

A very predictable plane with no problems in high wind with good penetration

Flew very well in 3G is typical of a pattern flying plane

Very impressed, highly recomended.

Anyone fitted the retracts to this model? Which did you choose, and does the kit come with the fitting hardware? I fly off pretty rough grass, so the opsion of belly landing would be usefull.

If you want a pattern plane fomie in a big size and quality better then multiplex elopor, get this plane at once. Its very good looking, great fit and quality is exellent. It flyes right where you point it.

I waited a long time on this plane since they where on backorder for nearly 2 month. But it was worth waiting for, i use the axi 2820/10 60 amp esc and use 4 cell turningy lipos and it can do all pattern manouvers in the book with plenty of powers to spare...Love this plane..!
