Clocked up a few hours with the FX-61 now. Great fun to fly, looks awesome and great flight times. Unfortunately though, the flight footage is not as good as with my Bixler 2 due to a constant oscillation in the airframe. Its not jello, i'm using an anit vibration plate, but a constant flapping that makes the video hard to watch. I now see this in other video from other FX-61 pilots. I assume that additional reinforcing of the airframe is needed. Needs a lot more correction to keep flying level compared to the conventional fixed wings with vertical and horizontal tail stabilisers. Perhaps I'll look into a larger version of the Bixler type plane like the sky eye.

Its fantastic plane. Great for FPV. There is a big pleace inside of plane what enogh for Futaba 14ch receiver, esc, joystic what is for OSD Menu and 4,5 Battery. I made a plate by wood what i putted with glue above the battery and i putted OSD autopilot onto wood.

Everything fine with this modell.

I recommend to everybody who hasitate what is better.

I received my wing on the 5/12/2013. It was will packed well and in perfect condition. Built it on Sunday morning and installed FPV gear then took it for the maiden it on Sunday evening. She is no speed demon top speed 70kph but is VERY VERY efficient and flies very stable win NO nasty surprises at all. Total flight time with 1X 5000mah 3s for motor and 1X 1000mah 3s for FPV gear was 40min with mixed flying habits. Would give 6 stars if it was possible as it is my new favorite FPV platform

This is a really nice model for FPV. It is very stable in flight, has sufficient power when running on a pair of 2200mAh 3S batteries using the supplies motor and prop. It is very quick and easy to build. Surface finish is super slick. On the down side the servo horns are flimsy and break off easily, I suggest replacing them as they tend to break while loading the model into the car ...... A 10x7 APC Prop will give better penetration on windy days, while not sacrificing too much in duration. Strap the batteries in with a loop of velcro going through the bottom vents, or else they can eject out the top of the model(even when stuck to the bay with velcro).

Have flown the Phantom about 50 times now, and I am very happy with it. Super stable and predictable. The setup is very light but will get thrown around a little in the wind.

Buy kit model. stock motor and esc not for fpv. stock motor can not payload well with 3s, also 4s. in the air not problem but launching with stock motor 4s and gopro and autopilot systems is big problem. it comes with these systems and 5000mah compact lipo 1450gr. buy ld3730 1000kv 3s-4s (need to buy extra acceserios) or 3015a 1000kv 3s motor. buy redbrick 50a and program it to brake (second beep to lipo, third beep to brake on) , 10x7 prob. these setup with 3s can push 1800 gr not fully battery. also stock esc can be used if you will just cruise and not need power but i suggest red brick50a. also recomended trust 55a but red brick much lighter.
