Prop drive motor 28-36 /1200

These motors are well priced and well made.
However using the prop drive from the small three hole end does not take larger sized props very well as the bolts shear off.
Driving from the shaft end is OK but prone to shaft damage in a head on crash. Fine if you fly safely.

I really want to like these motors. They seem extremely well built with great magnets. However, 1 burned up an esc while calibrating and the second smoked itself within 4 seconds of running without props. It’s hard to find quality motors in this size and these seem no different than any other cheap Chinese motor, unfortunately. Everything seems like quality except for the windings.

Needs better quality drive adaptor

The cast drive adaptor was a cast aluminium part that broke with very little effort. I made another one out of steel.

Plenty of power on 3S

I put this in my new Wargo Edge540T from HK. With a Master Airscrew 10X4.6 prop it prop hangs beautifully using only a 3S lipo. Very happy with it.

Nice motor but.... bad quality expereince.

I bought two of these for a twin motor model but one motor was faulty - it kept sticking and making crunching noises. I took it apart and found that it was built without a back thrust baring!!!
Now that are out of stock and i cant get a replacement!
