The heatsink can is CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061 T6 aluminum, high-purity copper is used for the windings for improved efficiency, and double-shielded oversized bearings are used for durability. The motor includes sintered neodymium magnets, the stator has super thin (0.2mm) laminations, and the rotor is then precision balanced for reliability, and ultra-smooth running at maximum RPMs.

The Rocket Surpass 3548-840KV motor suits sport, scale, and 3D-type models. This robust motor suits LiPo batteries from 3~4S, and on test with a 4S battery gave 685 watts of power at 50A, making it a great motor for medium-size models. The motor is supplied with a machined prop adapter, complete with mounting bolts, allowing it to be mounted either way round.
