    This latest 6 channel receiver from FrSky has a built-in 3 axis gyro and a 3 axis accelerometer sensor module. The S6R supports automatic leveling, hover and knife edge for conventional models and automatic leveling for Delta wings and V-tail. These model types can be enabled via S6R.Config or S6R.lua PC software but also the S6R can be used as a standard 6 channel X series receiver as well.

    The S6R has 6 conventional output channels, built in RSSI PWM output (0~3.3V), built-in battery voltage sensor and is "Smart Port" enabled allowing you to use the hub-less sensors as well as the older analog sensors.

    With the built-in 3 axis gyro the S6R will compensate for outside forces on the aircraft and will enhance the stability of your model making it easier and smoother to fly. The gain can be adjusted in flight by assigning one of your transmitters sliding or rotary controls to the gain adjustment to increase or decrease the sensitivity.

    The S6R is compatible with the following FrSky transmitters;
    FrSky Taranis X9D Plus/X9E/Horus X12S/XJT in D16 mode. US version

    Ihave 3 of them all working very nicely in different models. Easy to bind.
    I reflashed the firmware with no trouble (pay attention it takes some minutes to complete the operation) e then I regulated the various settings both with the usb as the bluetooth interface using the first with the pc and the second via the smartphone. All ok

    Works well, but no decent documentation

    It took me two weeks to get it working. The manual is inaccurate and incomplete. There is lots of conflicting information online about binding it. You have to guess all the right things before it will bind. The red and green LEDs that indicating binding do not function as described in the manual. Once I finally got it working with my Taranis X9 Lite, it works very well.

    For the cost and the functionality you cannot beat this receiver or the 8 channel version S8R either. Loads of functionality and bargain price compared to competitors. Only thing to be aware of is the manufacturer instruction leave much to be desired. Software that is open source and a stk cable are needed to get this receiver going. So if you go this route look up how to get set up on YouTube and decide if you still want to do it. Not hard at all just with out good instruction not easy to figure out.
