The build and structure is unusual for a cheap servo. There are no wires inside and thus also less solder joints. All the parts connect directly to the servo amp board. Both the ones I ordered run smoothly.

Very well made and the motor is twice the size of most others. The pot is soldered directly to the PCB as is the motor ( No sloppy wires inside! ). At half the price I can buy twice as many!!!.

Best Analog Servo in this clas

This servo is very precise and centers very well. Weight is as advertised and the unit appears to be of very high quality. Interestingly, both servos I received had a label on them giving month and year of manufacture. I don't know exactly what can be derived from that information but it does further the notion that this manufacturer is very concerned about quality.



Unfortunately, I do NOT know how much current this unit draws while in operation but if anyone has those numbers I would be very interested to see them. As my budget allows I am replacing all my HXT900 servos with this unit. Obviously, I recommend this unit.



If power consumption numbers for this unit were low I think a strong case could me made this is the best overall analog servo in this size.

Amazing Servo

I don't usually bother writing reviews but I felt compelled to say how totally amazed I am with this little servo. Most of the micro servos I have bought in the past have sloppy gears and have a very short life, but the gears on these are amazingly tight for an inexpensive servo. The case also has reinforcing around the mounting holes so the lugs won't snap off when you tighten the screw on a less than flat surface. They also seem quicker than others rated at the same speed. At this price you can't go wrong.
