4130-6T 477kv

Nov 14, 2007

I bought this motor for an Extra 330 fiberglass from CMP that did not work out. I recently built another 330 from a different company for this motor. Wing length is 63 inches, plane weighs about 7lbs. This has turned out to be the best plane I have flown yet. This motor turns out 1200 watts @ 62 amps turning a 15X8 APC electric prop on 6s1p. Power trane runs cool and long. Using Sentilon 100 amp ESC from UH. Power to weight ratio is 2 to 1, more than ample for 3D. This motor is quiet, smooth, powerful. ESC provides smooth/linear response and control. 22.2 volts provides top end RPM.

If I were to build another plane like this one I would not be able to improve with any other choice of power train. I recommend this setup very highly.

I am curious to try the bigger brother to this motor for larger craft. This is a perfect setup, my best.

klemm35 graupner

Nov 14, 2007

I put this motor at a klemm35 from Graupner (2m/80inches wingspan, about 4.5kg/10lb total weight). This model is meant for a 15-20cc 4stroke gas engine. The tower pro motor easily pulls the 10lb model on 5s lipo (3700mAh) and a 14*7 APC like prop. The motor is very silent and has no vibrations. The plane is loose from the ground after a 30m runway (100feet). The average amp during flight were 16Amps during a scale like flight (15min on a 4000mAh lipo accu). A bigger prop will allow for aerobatics (can be up to 16*10 on a 5s according to the review above). All in all, a very good perfomance that made me happy. And therefore absolutely recommendable also due to the very high performance to cost ratio.

I use this motor with 6S 5000mAh in a 1,93m Jamara Decathlon with 3,5 Kg weight. Power is enought to have fun with the plane.

Technical data

Nov 14, 2007

Hi,

here some technical data:

I used 5 Fepos. All Measurements under load:

1. 16x10

6200 U/Min

44,3 Ampre

14,8 Volt

> 655 W

2. 16x10 with 2,5

5900 U/Min

50 Ampre

14,7 Volt

> 735 W

3. 17x11

5760 U/Min

60 Ampre

14,5 Volt

> 870 W

I fly the 16x10 with 2,5 in a Magister ( Modell ~ 2,5 kg) from Multiplex. Battery is a 5s2p fepo. With this powerful Engine the Magister fly vertical in the sky.

Great Engine.

5 Stars !

greetings from Germany

TP 4130-6T

Nov 14, 2007

With 6cells at 1500 meter above sea level I get 8750 RPM from a APC 13*8 for only 25 Amps . It seems to be as efficient as the bigger AXI's . You cant go wrong at the price.

TP 4130-6t motor

Nov 14, 2007

I just put this motor in the Graupner Aeroshell T6 with a 5 cell lipo and 14x7xoar prop and all I can say is ..WOW!!! This thing has some power, 100' loops are no problem. This is a 7lbs plane, and the motor is the most powerfull for its size.
