I bought this motor and ESC Combo and after a few days of use I noticed the motor gets really hot but I didnt think anything of it at the time.(Specs say 130 degrees) After a few hours of use is smoked the motor and fried the esc afterwards. very disappointed.

I installed this system into my 1/16 TR-V7 with a 17t pinion. Screw holes match, no modification needed. Very compact, fast and fun. Almost too much power, needs lots of throttle control.

Turnigy 1/18 4WD Mini Stadium Truck TrackStar 1/18th Scale 7.5T Brushless power System (6100kv) = "HOLY CRAP"

did not come with proper mounting screws and screw for the mini stadium truck did not fit this motor other than that "HOLY CRAP"

After a few minutes using 3s lipo the engine is cooked and I broke the rotor. The motor and esc go to 3s why I broke everything ??? The engine was really strong,just insane !!!

Using this on the 1/18 stadium truck. Much much better than stock, ESC allows really nice control, it is much more linear and easy to program. Motor is fast and powerful. Good performance on 2S. You will need 2.5mmx~7mm screws for mounting the motor (together with blue loctite), and a XT60 for the ESC.

Fitted this in my RC18MT along with a Turnigy 2.2A 2S Lipo and god it shifts! Easy to install although could be supplied with a couple of 2.5mm screws to help mounting. The std size on the RC18 is 3mm so had to find two small screws! Not the End of the world though so still 5 stars, especially for the price!

This is very good system and very easy to install in to your car/boat.
I am using it in a boat and it responds really nice with 3s Li-po.

Wow I installed this into a Team Losi Mini T 1/18, when the orig ESC died the replacement was $45 at my local Hobby Shop. The only problem is that I now have to replace the Spur and pinion because the orig wont stand up to the massive torque. It is Fast and responsive and has turned a paperweight into a fun RC Thrasher!!!!

BTW It comes preset to Lipo mode,

put this in a hsp 1/18 buggy running a 2cell 70c 2200 lipo goes like holy hell great motor and esc combo
