Die Turnigy Aerostar SRS Flight Control System funktioniert wie ein normales Flugzeug Gyro mit unabhängigen Gyro Verstärkungsregelung für Quer-, Höhen- und Seitenruder. Dieser Kreisel-Stabilisator wird diese 3 steuert glätten und das Modell leichter und viel glatter zu fliegen, vor allem in rauen Luftbedingungen.

Die SRS-Einheit hat auch und Notbetrieb, die von einem Schalter am Sender arbeiten kann. Dies kann so eingestellt werden, dass einmal aktiviert, um sicherzustellen, das Modell seine automatisch eingeben wird voreingestellten Steuerungskonfiguration, damit Sie Kontrolle zu erholen.

Dieses Gerät würde in einem Trainer-Typ Modell für Anfänger RC Fliegen oder für die Herstellung jedes Modell stabiler und leichter zu fliegen ideal.

I put Turnigy's Aerostar SRS through a test using Durafly 1100 Stuka, my old trusted test bench. It did exactly what it is supposed to do. I stalled, spinned and did all the possible mistakes and every time it corrected the plane with a slip of a switch. I even pu tCG delibarately wrong couple pf times and still the old warbird flew well.

Gusts were throwing the plane back and forth, when it was off, but the wind seemed to cease every time I turned it on. Really positive experience.

Excellent stabilizer for fixed wing aircraft. Today I tried it on the model HK Slow Stick. It works perfectly, incredibly.
I was able to fly Slow Stick in strong winds (8 m/s, gusting to 10 m/s, measured with an anemometer). When I turn off the stabilization for the moment, the model was almost uncotrolable... After turning on, I was able to land softly with zero forward speed.

One more thing about the gyro that seemed confusing but really isn't, is the wording of "in" and "out" on the unit. If you think of signal-travel it makes perfect sense. The signal comes "in" from the receiver and then "out" to the servos, so plug the servos into the "out" and the receiver into the "in". Last but not least, set the gyro's gains a bit too high at first which helps you see the movement of the servo correction. If the correction is going the wrong way, reset the gains to the opposite side of zero. (12:00) Then, back off on the gains for your first few flights. Just think, 3-axis stabilization for only $11.00!!! Have fun flying. 8-20-2016

This product works as advertised. Don't believe everything you read from the reviewers on this site. I recently purchased this item to try it out and found that it works wonderfully and for the amazing price of only $11.00 at the USA east warehouse. Don't waste your money. I have yet to get it to function properly. So far it has crashed two aircraft that I have built for trainers for my kids. They are floater planes and I wanted to make them even easier to fly with a gyro. This thing is useless.

Setup is tricky, but once its set it is very good. I've also used the hobbyeagle A3 super, and I think the aerostar srs works better. (The hobbyeagle is even harder to set up and requires a pc). I haven't tried the auto-recover mode yet. This is a rebrand of the NX3 EVO gyro that bang-good sells. I found the NX3 manual a bit easier to understand. I'd say its useless for beginners unless you know a good pilot who can set it up for you. Its really good for smooth landings. No more broken landing gear or nose-overs, just a silky smooth approach and touchdown even in strong wind. You'll need good quality, super fast servos to get the best performance out of it. And a very strong BEC! Your servos will be working much harder with gyros, I lost a nice balsa plane to a brown-out with this thing.
