Don't know why but the shaft broke right where it was machined down. Did not have much time on this motor and did not get $8 dollars worth out of it either. Not sure if the blade was out of balance. I switched to a Blue Arrow BL1230 for now. Maybe I'll try the Turnigy B12-30 3850kv later.

Got this motor even after reading all the reviews.

hooked it up on the bench to test before installing in my Gravity/Cox spitfire. Put oil in the bearings put on GWS 3x2 prop an used 2S 500ma lipo for the first run. Started it up on bench an all seamed fine. Then the motor got loose and the prop bumped the bench. The motor shaft broke off flush with the case. Sure am glad I did not get it all installed before I found out how soft the shaft is. Verry disappointed with this motor. I cannot reccomond it. I have another Cox P47 warbird with a medusa research motor that has been crashed hard several times and never had a problem with it flys great vwery fast. Spend a little more for the better quality.

Great little motor - using this on a Eagle 50 (aka Walkera 22e) direct drive tail with a Esky Tail Blade Set 002386. The tail balde is the same as the BLADE EFLH1321, GWS 3x2 prop and also the HCB-03 from HobbyKing. I got a BLADE EFLH1321 mount and flipped it 180 so the the air flow is across the motor and with the addition of a heat sink the motor runs much cooler. I paired it with a Tz12A HobbyKing 12A BlueSeries brushless controller plugged into Assan GA-250 gyro and a walkera RX-2609 receiver that had the gyro mod (gyro board removed and gyro-sense jumper to AUX2).

I bought this for a losi 1/24 rally. It works great. good speed and power and barely gets warm with 3 cell lipo with 17t pinion and 53t spur. awesome! I would definitely recommend!!

Runs little bit hot on 3S with GWS 60x25 prop, mpst like too high kv for this setup, need to order less kv motor as i like these.

great little inrunner. perfect for the gws 40mm ducted fan. I strongly recomend getting a heat sink.
