With a fully charged Zippy Flight max 20C 1300mAh 3S and a GWS 8x6 prop :
Power (W) - Thrust (gram)
10w - 60g,
20w - 80g,
30w - 150g,
50w - 210g,
60w - 240g,
70w - 280g,
90w - 340g,

With the same set-up, the Kv1000 will give better results (see review of the kV1000).

Not that impressed with this product. I bought for my ME109 and it seems similar to the 1300 KV motor in looks but the performance dos not match. The 3 mm shaft snapped after a crash, replaced it with the Towerpro 2409 replacement shaft. They almost fitted perfect but ended up bending in the test bench at 5-600 grams of trust. The motor was very hot after this test.

swapped the stock motor with this one in my minimoa using the stock 11 inch folding prop. no problems with heat since i used the motor climb and then glide most of the time. good motor. has enough power, efficiency for the price. great buy.

Nice little motor. Overheated and burnt the motor and speed controller out with 9 x 3.8 prop on 3S lipo. Seems fine on smaller 8 x 3.8 prop. Very good price.

Doesn't look the best motor, and seemed stiff to turn by hand.

However, it was not expensive and it was bought for a small Cessna as a replacement for the original motor.

Using a 25A ESC and 3s 1300 Max Tipple batteries

GWS DD 8x4 = 90W @ 8A

GWS DD 8x6 = 140W @ 12A

I will update this post when it is fitted and has been flown.

Run this motor on My super Cub and HobbyKing YAK 54 Brushless EPO Plug-n-Fly

after 10min flight with 1300mAh 11.1V 20C, the motor is warm.
