Great toolbox, will finally keep the dust off my tools. Two little issues:
1. The rubber liners need to be re-cut to fit. Look like cut untidy with scissors.
2. The drawer latching is so tight that you need two hands to open a drawer. Haven't found a way to change the tight grip. Has anyone else?

This is the e mail response to my RMA regarding a rusty toolbox worth $30 $50 postage. The box arrived in a damp card board box. It had obviously been drooped and was damaged in the corner.
"Thank you for patiently waiting. According to our Product Specialist they confirmed the item is damage and we would like to offer you a refund $5 via bonus points for the compensation. We do apologize for the inconvenience.
so either i return the item to them for a replacement at an additional cost of $50 (now my cost for a cute little toolbox is $130) or accept a crap broken and rusty toolbox and $5???????????
Clearly hobbyking do not want to pay the freight of a replacement unit, but expect customers to foot the bill, or be stuck with crap. just don't buy this shoddy product.
very disappointed in both hobbyking and the this particular product.

As always with hobbyking, the service was great. Order placed on the 26th Feb, arrived on the 3rd march. To Perth WA. Very happy with that.
Then I opened the box.
Guys, whilst these things look cool in the photos and they function very well, the finish is shoddy to say the least, mine had scratches all over it. The bottom right hand corner had rust marks on it and the front aluminium draw bevels are oxidised. Looks like these things have been hanging around in a damp sea container for a while. Now I have the option of shipping it back at $60 or just live with something that looks as if I should repaint it.
It does look quite cute and I would have liked a finished one that I could have on my desk.
In short, you buy these tool chests because they look cool. In reality the finish is anything but cool. Dont do it. Save the freight and buy something from supercheap.

This is a cute little cabinet. I now keep it on my kitchen table, as no matter how hard I tried to keep projects off the table, tools and such like would always find their way to the most convenient place closest to the kettle (my table is tidy again) It turned up well packed and undamaged. The draw liners needed some trimming to take the ripple out. My chrome Turnigy sticker is not straight and as most of us have an engineering eye, this really winds me up so I'm going to heat it up with my heat gun, peel it off and re stick it :) Another thing i found was the paint in the coaster feet threads need to have a screw wound in first before final fitting, do that first and you will have an easy life!! The draws are a little tight but I think that is the sticky grease they used, try some light oil for smoother action. I really like this product.

I was skeptical about ordering one due to the lack of reviews and the high shipping cost but I'm i glad i got it. Its an awesome little tool chest. The casters and everything are too cool. Fits perfectly on my hobby bench or in the van to the field. Two thumbs up!

Bought 2 of these tool boxes, slightly more expensive than the UK warehouse but wanted them quick, UK out of stock. Arrived safe, very well packed double boxed together, the trays have a foam liner to protect your tools also if you fit the wheels it stops the tools ratteling or moving about, i have mine on the bench so no wheels.
Very good latches on the draws, but the top latch for the hinged lid is rather weak. The Blue finish is well applied with a Turnigy emblem on the front.
Overall, well inpresed, great boxes, superb value, not to big so only model size tools will fit. If your like me and cant find where you put things, get 1 or 2 for your workshop. BRILLIANT

Poor quality or poor shipping. Anyway first box received bended and unusable. Box replaced by HK but 2nd one received is even more damaged, so direct to thrash... Very disappointed 50 lost...

4 stars because the toolbox is not perfectly aligned in its construction. Otherwise it is very cool, very large in comparison to the Snap On mini tool boxes, and quite a bargain to be honest. A little polish and wax and the paint looks quite good.
