I bought this motor for a Flying W that I just built. I put a 10X8 slow prop on it with a LiPo 11.1V 1600mAh S3 battery and a 30 amp push Turnigy ESC. I sounded really nice and took it outside on the grass to test it out. would hardly move the W and got really hot. After a couple more tries and full throttle for about 30 seconds the motor smoked. not sure what happened besides I was using a 4S battery when it smoked but, I put a Turnigy Park 450 on the W and it has been fine ever since flies great. Only reason giving a 4 is not sure if the 4S battery had something to do with the motor smoking or not.

I used this motor for my super cub mod. It's got the power and 6 to 9 minute flights with 11.1 2200 battery.

Great motor with good power. Swings a slowfly 10x4.5 prop on 3s producing 365watts @ 30amps. Using on a 64" wingspan foam fpv plane based on an experimental airlines design weighing 1.7kgs.

ended up that I need a larger motor (G46) will be testing soon but by first impression it's still a 5 star as all accessories are included and also seems like a well assembled motor. .

I have one of these for a 40" foamie. It has GREAT power for a plane that size, and is my favorite motor. Probably biggest motor you might get for a 3s setup. I have tons of hours on mine, with no vibration or signs of wear.

Very nice motor, i ahve 2 of these one on my maxidrone with F30a (scrach build) and the other one on my cessna with Red brick 30a, both running a 9x4.7 sf carbon prop. not even warm after 20min on 80pcnt throttle with 2x 3000mah 40-50c turningy in paralell
Highly Recomended!
