Good motor for the price

I bought this to convert a buggy i had into more of a rock racer, allowing it to crawl better with the motor at low rpms. X-car 35A esc I am using, but the braking is really weak compared to the motor I used to have on there, I am hoping that is due to config issues. In summary for the price it works well.

It's a quite OK motor. It gives me strong ~12k rpm with 2S. There are a few things I though worth to mention though:
- bearings seems to be glued in place, not necessarily easy, but probably possible to replace, but there was no need yet.
- since they did not claim it has balanced rotor, i'm not complaining, but there is a tiny bit of vibration. Nothing major and definitely won't scare me away to buy it again. Once in the car, u won't be able to tell it at all as the car has so much more other vibrations..
- if you buy it for the adjustable timing, then don't! It's just a gimmick, the timing cannot be changed. At least not on mine(maybe i got a fake one? lol). You can remove the rear cup and even replace the hall sensors/pcb, but there is no provision in the mechanical design to make adjustments to the h/w timing. You still can do it via the esc though which is the better way anyhow..but saying.

Very nice good quality motor with adjustable end bell. Makes for a very fast, strong and efficient motor when paired with a boost&turbo tunable ESC, such as the Trackstar turbo 80A. Mine is set with end bell at almost the most negative setting, boost starting from 4000rpm ending at 11500rpm at 25 degrees and turbo ramping after that to additional 26 degrees. Can get the bottom and mid-end strong and keeps on going to good RPM at the top with these tunable settings. Temperature-wise keeps very cool even without a fan. I highly recommend this motor as an option for approved blinky racing or just tuning it for fun and efficiency.

These turnigy trackstar sensored brushless motors are nice options for hobbyists looking sensored motor for low price but still great quality. I have couple of these motors already but different turns and they just work. I'm sure this 21.5T will work fine for what i'll be using it. Overall great motor.

Bought this for a GoPro - FPV car I'm building and couldn't be more pleased at the quality. The motor runs super smooth at low speeds and has a very linear throttle curve. Insane value for money!
