The GPS works quite well and hot starts fairly quickly but by now nowadays standards it is HUGE at 60mm Dia. There are much better smaller ones available around 45 mm.
The pod mounting system is not great. I cut the stem off and mounted it on an aluminium pod.

Works great with flip 32 aio

Don't know why this is not listed as compatible for Flip-32 AIO. With INAV NAZE installed as firmware on the Flip32, this unit booted up with no issues. All sensors active. Connect UART2 green wire tx (gps) to rx(controller pin 1 left), yellow wire rx (gps) to tx(controller pin 2 from left), black ground (pin 3), red(5v) to pin 4, orange (scl) to pin 5, and blue (sda) to pin 6. This is a much larger unit than the GPS module recommended for this flight controller, but it is 1/2 the price and has a compass, which the recommended unit lacks.

GPS funktioniert. Magnetometer kriege ich mit Omnisbus F7 v2 FC nicht zum Laufen. Könnte auch am FC liegen.

Pros: The NEO-M8N rapidly acquires satellites and you can have a GPS lock and be ready to fly in under a minute. The cost is extremely attractive as well.

Cons: Order another GPS mount with this unit. The plastic mount that comes packaged is made of extremely weak plastic and it literally crumbled in my hands. An aluminum mount would be a good suggestion.

Purchased 2 from here. 1 works 20 sats the other 8 sats in the same place at the same time on Pixhawks. Have another 3 from a different supplier and they both work great.

I have 3 of these M8N gps/compass's.They are much better than the ones on Ebay.
These work flawlessly on my pixhawk autopilots.The aqusition time to aquire sats is almost instant.I have gooten 20 sats with a HDOP of .7.These are simply the best GPS I have used.I want to thank hobbyking for having these.2 cables are included,The one already on the gps is for the pixhawk(6pins).

Have been running this GPS on my hybrid Tarot 680 pro for several months now. Quick lock and many more satellites than my old GPS module picked up. Hex will loiter in a 6-8" and does not drift.

This seems to work better than previous generation one i had equiped to APM based quad, it lands much closer to where it originally launched and holds steadier, definitely gets a lock much faster
