I just received this boat and its awesome! minor adjustments and prep work. balance polish sharpen prop, sharpen rudder, locktite everything, 100LL fuel 32:1. I have zero complaints about this boat.

Received the boat two days ago, in great visual shape. Installed my radio and made the appropriate adjustments. Took the new rig to the local boat pond today and the new engine started right up, idled well and accelerated well. I ran the boat around the pond for two tanks of gas, making an adjustment to the high speed needle(opening it 120 degrees) and then the boat gave really good performance. On the third tank of gasoline the clutch blew apart. Now what can I do? No responses from anyone at HK...............Boat looks great, hope HK will fix it.

Ive had this boat for about 4/5 months and this thing is awesome sounds great, goes great and always pulls a crowd and a few comments.

one of the only things i found is you have to be spot on with oil/fuel mix first few runs i ran it very high on oil mix and yes had to go swimming due to stalling but no fault of boat.

I have now added water pump ,ballanced ss prop and sharpend turn fins wich is not necessary but great for a bit more controll and cooling.

If you intend to run this in salt water which is all i do be shure to remove and grease drive line and prop shaft as it will bind up.

To clean out after run a i have about one meter of garden hose kinked on the end with a split for the rudder i just slide rudder through split in hose turn on to low pressure and start engine.

This is my first rc boat.
Ive had cars, bikes, planes, choppers, trucks and a few other different rc toys. I'm no pro racer or anything like that I just love rc.
So this boat has had 2 runs now and everything straight out of the box is working flawlessly, to my standards any way.
The motor starts easily, the boat handles great almost to good but you can fix this if you want to..
Speed is just fine for starters but a good tune and a hot prop might do some good.
This boat looks fantastic on the water and as for price Hobby King rocks ! half the price of anything close to this on the market.
This is value for money .
A mate of mine bought the Hydro after seeing my boat so when it arrives and we have a play, check here..

i have had this boat for a week as well looks good runs great the cooling system might need and upgrade not yet any way i added floatation foam to the back and the the front of the boat just in case it decides to flip on i had to play with the throttle screws just for a few minuets to bet it to idle right as it turned of a few times but now its running like a dream i was really suprised at its handling is it is quite clean and responsive move through the water like a blade but ye i would like to add a small water pump just for the sake of extra cooling i took it to my local lake for a spin i am uploading the video now so it will be on here soon good boat very happy
