Usually I use plastic wrap but it adds a lot of weight plus makes the whole cables more rigid. This mesh makes the cables flexible yet protects them and keeps them in place nicely.

Clean & Subtle, can use for a (3-4) 3 wire servo leads, set of 12 gauge plus and - wiring or equivalent. Good for wiring harness. Will take some practice working with the mesh guard. But give a create clean, finished look to you wiring. Will be stiff, add weight, and best for straight runs, or simple curve.
