The XFLY Eagle Twin is an innovative racing model with twin EDF motors on each wing tip, this is a radical configuration and allows for a large area in the middle of the fuselage for batteries, and other equipment. The included power system gives a power-to-weight ratio of over 1:15 which allows for easy hand-launching and an incredible performance. Top speeds of over 110mph are achievable, and a special EDF mixing configuration makes the Eagle capable of performing differential maneuvers. These include flat spins, inverted flat spins, and other challenging aerobatic maneuvers.
XFLY has used the same care and attention, quality components, and materials that they use on their larger and more sophisticated models to produce the Eagle, so it is still manufactured to the same high standards that you have come to expect from XFLY. The Eagle is manufactured in lightweight, but tough EPO foam, and is supplied complete with twin 40mm 12-blade EDF fan units, twin 1413-5000KV motors, twin 20A ESC, 2 x 9g digital servos, and a custom-made gyro. The 4S-compatible power system delivers an abundance of power for excellent thrust, loads of speed, and an incredible turbine-like sound. The included gyro is switchable with 3-modes, gyro off, lock-mode is fully stabilized including altitude hold, and stabilized mode which is great for 3D flying, etc.
The model is made from very tough, lightweight EPO foam and is beautifully finished in a red-and-white color scheme. Assembly is non-existent, it is ready to fly out of the box, just install your chosen receiver and battery and you are ready to go.
