Guess what I just ordered another one..... it came with exactly the same problem large dent made by balance connector this time..... someone there has a problem with packing them properly!!!Hi. Mine has arrived with a dent on it. Please be careful when you packing. Other then that I can't complain it does the job. My FMS P51 v7 flights more than well.Last 2 packs puffed just after 4 flights. I have some other packs 2 years old still in good condition.
My guess is they have changed manufacturer/provider, and recent ones are much lower quality?????? ???? 5200 ? ???? ????? ?? ???????I carefully size the current and I bought 2 of these for my small Quadcopter.
My copter draws 14 Amps full throttle and hovers around 7 to 8 Amps. At first I was very happy with the long flying time almost 20 minutes. After several charges one stated to bulge then the other did the same thing. So in one season both of them died.
I charge them at 4 Amps (Less then one C rating) and draw max 14 Amps (only take offs)
Roughly I got 25 flights out of these 2 batteries without any abuse or pushing them to their limits.
Industry pushes low C batteries for the Multicopters but lower C batteries dies early for some reason. I have my 3 years old 90C battery that I am still using them.
I hope this review helps to my hobiest friends.
I bought two(02) of them and they came, in very good balance condition. I have many Zippy compact batteries and i am very pleasedI bought 4 of these as part of a large order. Shipped in big box with crappy minimal packaging. Heavy batteries flew around like a rock tumbler. One battery got smashed on the end, 3 others survived. Damaged battery not safe to ship back, keeping it in a cement block. I SUBMITTED RMA WITH PHOTOS 2 1/2 MONTHS AGO ASKING TO SEND ME A REPLACEMENT, STATUS STILL "WAITING FOR INITIAL EVALUATION." I HAVE SPENT OVER $1000 WITH THESE GUYS AND THEY WON'T EVEN CORRECT A PROBLEM THEY CAUSED. PRETTY PATHETIC.Good battery. Don't take cell voltage too low as will easily "puff". Works great on my planes.Cheap, light and Nice packsThese batteries are great for the price. That being said they aren't the best in the world or for that matter this site. Considering how many cycles I have put mine through I can conclude with confidence that these batteries are both reliable and a good value. -
