Well known brand name,quality and good price.I have been using zippy batteries for some years. Always found them to be very good value for money. If treated correctly they will last as long as other more expensive makes. I have some that have done 80 cycles and still going. now they are all I use.I bought 8 of these Zippy 5S1P 5000mAh 20C batteries and 3 of 8 came with one of the cells with different swing. With balence charge was unable to equalize the cells. Then redid the indivdual balance and was able to approach the rated voltage close to 4.1V. After 10 days of use three of these batteries showed swing voltage new problems since, swelled and 1 became short circuit in a cell. The quality of this brand is not good. 3 of 8 with a voltage trouble and 1 of 8 are puffed. I have contacted the HobbyKing Warranty Returns, had complained and got no answer ever since I bought the batteries. P.S. The discharge rate of my projects is 4C, well below the nominal 20C !Bought these for my son's trail oset
works great recently ordered 4 morei'm really happy with these lipo's i use them for my boy electric trial oset they do the job
mutch better than the standard sla's have them now for 1 year and recently ordered 4 morezippy is the best battery to me, combined 2 packs in series (10s)whith a 120 yep esc, 19x10 prop, 2meters edge 540 wingspan and 8 minutes aerobatics flyingErster Akku hatte beim auspacken schon eine aufgeblhte Zelle. Nicht Reklamiert!!
Feb.2014 Ersatz Bestellt, nach dem auspacken mit Lipo-Checker die Spannungen geprft,es wurden nur 4 Zellen angezeigt,gesamt Spannung 15,4V (es ist ein 5S 5000mA 20C).leider hatte ich schon die Hlle vom Stecker entfernt,daher nicht Reklamiert !!!
Ich werde keine Zippy mehr kaufen.The weight above lies. Actually 550g per pack - well a pair of mine are both that. Running them at 94A full throttle. They get warm, but not hot. Si.Pulling 94A out of 2 of these (in 10S) configuration. Packs get warm but not hot - not bad considering I'm near its C rating. Had 6 flights so far out of a pair of packs. no problems so far and certainly not puffed up (not that you'd expect it to).Sehr guter Akku, die Spannung bleibt sehr stabil unter Last. Ich habe 2 von diesen Akkus bestellt und beide kamen sehr gut gebalanced. -
