I am going to use these tires on ice and snow. If you wear down some normal drift tires so there is only about 2mm left of tread before the rim, then you can slide the spark tire over the worn drift tires (without the foam centre).
I suggest buying two sets of these tires though, as I am using 2 rings per worn drift tire. So in total you need 8 rings for 4 worn out drift tires. Two rings fill the full width of a STD 26mm hard drift tire with some slight overhang (1-2mm). The inside of the ring has the flints slightly protruding inward, so the flints grip the worn drift tires really well. You just need to judge/estimate when to fit them on!!
For anyone who likes the idea of Snow/Ice rallying with these, try it!
- Now I just gotta wait about 5 months to get snow!

Found these quite hard to fit onto standard 1/10th rims. In the beginning they had some mad sparks but it only lased about 30 seconds or so.
Even though the name of them is spark drift tires. They are nowhere near as good as normal hard plastic tires, as the foam part tries to gip.

not that much fun.. the hardplastic does not make the car move.. i squeeze the throttle and the tires slips..sparks are fun.. but after a 1-2 tanks thay fade away..!

The flint spikes make quite a show for a short time, then make moderate sparks afterwards, will update with YouTube footage

If you are a casual drifter just buy them and use them at night, it's a blast. The spikes are used up after a couple of batteries but you will still get sparks (in lesser quantity)
