A Nightmare Kit

Instructions tells how to put it together but gives no direction of what other components you need and where they go ? I would not recommend this kit unless your a mind reader ? What electrical parts do you buy for this kit ?

The instructions were difficult to understand and the finished car is disappointing in its quality and performance.
The suspension springs are not stiff enough to support the weight of the car with a battery so it is bottomed out all the time.
The turning circle is terrible and the steering mechanism either compresses the front suspension or raises it depending on whether you're turning right or left.
The axles slip at the first sight of resistance so it will not climb any significant incline.
I do not recommend this product.

C'est un beau model, je regrette que le plastique employé ne soit pas plus solide pour le vissage. Il n'est pas si simple à monter. Mais j'espère et j'attends pas mal de ce model. .
Il me plait.

Cheap but fun.

It was fun and easy to build, but the springs were missing from my kit. I made my own from spring stock so I was able to build it anyway. I plan to load it in a 1/12-1/10 scale C-130 Hercules so it's good that it's lightweight plastic and a tiny motor.
The motor seems adequate for slow crawling and pulled the car up a 45° incline when I tested with a 2S lipo.
The steering geometry is awful. It produces lots of anti-ackerman when steering because of the geometry witht he links in front of the axle, which makes the limited turn circle due to lack of differentials even worse. The diagonal link from the servo to the spindle causes the steering to change during suspension travel as well. I see these problems on many cheap crawlers.
The body looks nice.

Very disappointing, not recommended.

I originally bought this model because of the body shape and was not disappointed in the high quality.
It was all downhill from there, the motor was very poor quality and gave up after only 4 runs.
Replaced it and then the rear pinion gear started to slip and would not drive the rear wheel and will have to replace the rear differential.
For the price this car should have come withe metal gears in both the front and rear differentials.
My verdict very disappointing and not something I would recommend to anyone.

Good price, very bad instructions. not for beginners. ends up looking good. but certainly not quality like a Tamiya kit.. but still ok...
