I am very happy owning two this bikes and there very a good practice tool for my advancement to 1/5 non gyro Rc Bike. First I would thanks HobbyKing for selling me this bike .And to my surprise these bikes are scalable to some extend , that means if you convert brushless motor or upgrade the Radio to Sanwa,Futaba for faster response ,they are competition ready or you can stick with current configuration and upgrade later ,Best way to care for these bike is not play them in rain or water cause the receiver will stop working temporarily if it too wet .And second most important is visually check all screws are intact before you Ram it .Me and me boys are having Blast whenever we race this bike .It very a very different feeling from cars, truck Plane that I use to play.Overall they are great stuff to have in your hobbies..VERY pleased with this bike! I bought 3 of these bikes for me and my sons, and I've found no issues with any of them, nice quality, fit and finish. Take some time and check every screw for tightness, just like you should with every RTR, and you will have a ball. Hobby King, please stock up on spares because these bikes will be used! The esc and motor are 3s and capable and the Bike becomes a beast! I mean a totally different Bike. I got a zippy compact 3s 1000mah. It wheelies at half throttle! So much fun! No need for a brushless motor, just the the upgrade battery. Love it!The bike is well made, only small complaint, bolts on front wheel rim all loose, bolts on main frame loose, servo bolts were loose and fell out. The lesson is follow the instruction manual before commencing to operate. With all that out the way, this bike is impressive for its size. very quite goes like a rocket with the standard brushed motor. I up graded the battery to a NANO TECH 1500 25-50C 7.4 V battery just moved the post out on the battery bay fits like a glove. Run time was a good plus 15 min. One thing is to bare in mind bikes do not ride easy like cars, they need to be managed like a full size bike. Like a plane verse helicopters the principle is there but the techniques are very different.
All up I give the bike 9/10. Would like to see the full spares for the bike in the warehouse like the manual advertises. Secondly the Bike stand price is a 10 th of the bike come on HK you can do better.Just got mine from the post. The build quality is very good. Very few plastic parts and the rest is metal and carbon. I am very positively surprised with this model, design and feel. However haven't got a chance to ride it yer, we have a piles of snow everywhere.
For its price I would say its a great deal!Easy to get used too, handles most smooth surfaces well. Very fast or quite slow doesn't matter, it's very fun to drive. Turns took a while to get used to, but recovery is quite easy. Be sure to check all set screws. Many were only finger tight. We all put bolts and nuts on the steering servo arm clamps, because the little screws will fall out quickly. It's the most stable RC motorcycle! HOR, Venom..etc.
Had a good time running it this Sunday with a friend, we both agreed it is the best RC motorcycle we ever run! Even stock it's has more than enough power for our circuit.
HK should stock up more parts!
