Discus Launch Gliding (DLG) is a fantastic way to fly gliders and it's certainly growing in popularity. Very unique in design, DLG models can also be very expensive but you dont have to break the bank with our Cumulus 1500. At a fraction of the cost of a composite model, our Cumulus 1500 not only looks great, it flies great too.
The large wing area is perfect for gliding, while its construction offers the perfect combination of weight saving and strength required for a DLG model.
Made from lightweight balsa/ply and pre-covered in quality film, the finish of the Cumulus 1500 is excellent. It is fitted with pre-mounted servos for aileron, rudder and elevator controls and just requires your own receiver and battery. The fuselage has ample room for your receiver and battery which is easily accessible through the canopy hatch.
This model goes together quickly and easily and is a great choice as your first DLG model!
