A small step in the right direction but still needs work. Neither this item nor the original are worthy of a patent.....Aluminum heat sinking is not required if the original copper conductor is just slightly thicker since properly sized conductor will not heat up. Instead of copper clad PCB material, solid copper sheet would be much better. Also the overall diameter needs to be reduced to create extra assembly space inside these MR hubs.

The use of heat sinking aluminum plate is a reactive solution that add unnecessary additional weight. The more effective solution is to increase the copper content so that there is less electrical resistance to begin with..... thereby eliminating the heat issue at source.

While it is possible to reduce the PDB and size by removing the aluminum for lower current loaded systems.... the better solution, once again, is to simply use more copper!!!

In any case this is one of the better PDBs I have seen and used to date.
