Quality looks good. They are silver plated *maybe nickel plated*. They do stick to magnet, so likely they are made of some kind of ferrous material. Nickel is also magnetic, and as the don't appear very magnetic , could be just the plating.
However they are not the cheapo soft alloy type you get on toys, so good buy for money.

The description states that this gear is steel, but I don't think it is. It doesn't stick to a magnet, so it's probably some kind of aluminum alloy.

Good little pinion gear nice and strong metal, havent had a problem with it so far, No signs of wearing. Good job HK.

This pinion is a very good product. You need to buy one or more of this if you have free weight! The quality is good and they are very cheap! I bought 4 pinions for my car and they fit perfectly without problems...

Questo davvero un ottimo prodotto da aggiungere al carello se si dispone di qualche grammo in pi. La qualit ottima, i denti non sono teneri come certi pignoni che si comprano a basso prezzo e che diventano piatti dopo un'accelerata. Ne ho comprati 4 come ricambio/optionals e devo dire che mi trovo davvero bene. Montarli semplicissimo, non ci sono difetti di fabbricazione e si infilano tranquillamente nel motore proprio come un pignone originale.
