MultiStar V-Spec 2205 - 2350KV Multi-Rotor Motor (CCW)

The Turnigy Multistar range of V-Spec Outrunners are designed for maximum performance. We've specified genuine N45SH magnets and copper wire with a very impressive lamination thickness of just .15mm allowing us to densely pack the stator with copper. So what does that mean? Just straight up performance.

V-Spec motors use current best practice manufacturing methods; Japanese bearings, N45SH magnets,NEW more efficient .15mm laminations, 180degC oxygen free copper wire .42mm single wire, 0.005g balancing tolerance, precision windings and rigorous post production inspection to ensure that only motors fully matching the specifications are made available for sale.

V-Spec motors are perfect for 150 to 290 size quads. They come with a larger 3mm shaft and bigger bearings for motors of this size.  V-Spec motors have far less sync errors than other motors making them more responsive to pilot input.  They are an excellent companion for 4-6” propellers.

Features:
• N45SH Magnets
• NEW more efficient 0.15mm Laminations
• 180deg oxygen free Copper wire

Major durability issues, cannot recommend

Nov 30, 2020

Purchased four of these two years ago, after about a dozen flights, I have had TWO motors fail due to the wire connection inside the base of the motor breaking. The motors just pulse without spinning up. I have tried to re-solder and repair the issue, but dissasembling the motor results in some damadge to the windings, even if you are careful.

MULTISTAR V-SPEC 2205

Feb 02, 2020

When the motor reaches above 50% it starts to vibrate and make noise. Almost grinding like. Will have to test it under more load.

Not as powerful as stated

Jan 23, 2018

I only bought one because its states 420w just to test it before I committed myself for a set of four. As I thought running on 3s 1000mah battery and a 6x4 gemfan prop it only managed 110w so I tried a different watt meter and a fresh battery but still only got 115w drawing just over 10 amps. Like other reviewers I agree the motor runs smooth and quiet and is of reasonable quality, but dont be taken in by the stated power output.

High Quality, High performance Motors

Jan 18, 2017

I ordered a set of four for a 210 fpv racer I currently fly, and I am very happy with these motors! I know in terms of benchmarks they don't lead the field, but real world is far from bench marks. These are a full package of excellent build quality, and high performance. The single thick wire is much more efficient than motors with multiple strands, the bearings are extremely smooth and quiet, and the magnets are strong. I have combined these with multistar 20 amp BlHeli-S ESCs, and 4s 65c Turnigy A-spec lipos, for enormous amounts of acceleration. If your looking to speed up your machine, give these motors a shot.
