Really great motor. I have used them on quads to planes and they do great in all fields. Runs great on 10x4.5 on 3s. Have tried 8x4.7 on 4s but motors got really hot after only 3mins in air so 3s is what i will stick with for now. The only down side of these motor's is there is no replacement shafts so you will need to buy a whole new motor but at this price you can't complain. The esc I use are Emax Blheli 20a esc and they are great with this combo. The esc's get warm at best. They aren't the best balanced motor's and the barings do wear out over time so you may need to replace them at some point. All in all great motor's if your on a budget.

I use these motors for my 450 quad, they are reliable and make a good work for the price.
Used with 10x4.5 props, good autonomy with 3s 3000mA.h LiPo, aerobatics available without problems.

I bought this motor for my diy 450 size quadcopter along with HK 30A esc and 10x4.5 slowfly props. Powered by two Turnigy 2200mah 3S 25C lipo connected in parallel. Good combinations, motors and esc not overheated after 16 min of flight time with fpv pilot cam and gopro onboard. It was more than 2 months now and still fly well. I am very happy with this motor so far.

I use these in a reptile quad and with a 3s 2650 30C it response very nice.
10x4.5 is ideal but at 9x6 it was over working the motors so I propped down
to a 9x5 and it worked good.not as good as the 10x4.5 but good enough to fly around my yard.

This is a high quality motor. It works great in my brushless New Bright fire boat. Now, the top speed is well over 20mph vs a previous top speed of a stunning... 2mph. Great product from Hobbyking.

This has got to be the biggest piece of garbage anyone has ever tried calling a motor... I would not even use them as fishing weights... Save your time and money and buy a real motor...ZERO!!!!!!!

Excellent motors for my diy H-quad. After 15-16 min flight with 3s 5000mah Zippy motors and esc barely warm. I bought these 'coz they're cheap and wasn't expecting much out of them but to my surprise it exceeded my expectations. I will buy more for other projects.
