These are high quality, beautifully finished carbon fiber flybarless main blades for your 450 size helicopter.

Designed specifically for use with the increasingly popular flybarless helicopters, the airfoil and weight balance of these blades has been optimized to give you the best cyclic response and control for your model.

Despite being designed specifically around flybarless applications, these blades can be used on standard flybar helicopter models as well. They excel in FAI/FC3 style flying when used on traditional flybar helicopter models.

Although the majority of these blades are perfectly finished, they are sold as "B-grade finish" blades which means there may be a bit of overspray or smudged paint lines. This in no way affects the quality/performance of these blades and most look perfect despite being sold as B-grade.

You wont find a better price on main blades of this quality anywhere else!

*Perfect for use with Trex 450, HK 450, Beam E4, KDS 450 helicopter and other 450 size helis.

Specs:
Length: 325mm (315mm bolt hole to blade tip)
Weight: 20g each
Bolt hole: 3mm
Grip: 5mm

Outstanding blades. I've bought 4 sets over the last year, they usually need a bit of tape to get balanced. I use them on a Blade 450 fbl and an HK 450 pro. Airfoil is pretty good, some sets of blades weigh 23g each some sets weigh 21g each, but they are always paired within half a gram of eachother (so different sets of these blades may perform differently). You need spacers/shims to make them fit on the Blade 450 grips. Each package of blades come with 2 spacers and you'll need 4 total to fit them on any blade 450.

The blades come well packaged in a nice foam casing. So they are well protected. They look very nice and are well painted. A real plus for the blades.

I had the balance the blade with 8cm (about 3 inches) of tape on the center of gravity. This is too much for a "high quality" blade.
I use them on a Beam E4 FBL. The overall flight is good. I had to reduce the swashplate gain a bit (other blades are radix fbl) to eliminate a slight wobbling on nick. The react good to cyclic and collective pitch inpus and give a good sound. I already feared it and, yes:
they tend to give a bit amount of roll right input when pitching (not caused by vibrations) and the helicopters oversteers when giving much pitch after a looping (2550 and 2900 RPM - 12 degree of pitch , 8 degree cyclic pitch). This show that the blades have too much of forerun/are leading too much (i can't find the proper english word, sorry!). I compared it to my radix v2 and it shows that they have about 3mm more forerun. This is too much for an FBL Blade!! and is also the reason for the good pitch input and oversteering. Sorry Hobbyking, but you have to work on this.
However: If you're not into speeding or flying really fast loops you will hardly notice this at all. It will however put more strain to your servos
