Der 3D-Stift ist ein nettes Gimmick fr kleinere kreative Arbeiten oder auch Reparaturen.
Es knnen damit keine Gegenstnde wie in einem 3D-Drucker erzeugt werden. Fr Postkarten mit dem speziellen Etwas oder auch kleine Skulpturen, Weihnachtsdekorationen etc. ist der Stift gut geeignet. Bei Haushaltsgerten lassen sich zum Beispiel ausgebrochene Teile leicht nachkonstruieren.
Das Handling ist mit etwas bung leicht. Es ist auch mglich, bei einer bestehenden Konstruktion, Weiteres anzufgen.
Der Stift ist innerhalb von 10s betriebsbereit. Der Einzug funktioniert berraschend gut und der Ausstoss des Matierials erfolgt gleichmssig. Bei zu hohem Vorschub reicht die Heizleistung nicht ganz aus. Die Verarbeitung des Stiftes ist sehr gut und auch die Anleitung ist verstndlich.

Bought it when price was down to $29.99 - Absolutely worth it - but it is new so I do not know how durable it will be.

The manual itself says to use ABS only. I do not know if it is safe to use with PLA without adjusting the heater.

Cons:
- flow is only settable in two steps: continuous and intermittent. Continuous only good for initial feeding, because the heater just cannot keep up with a continuous flow.
- manual is just a tiny bit too shallow
- temperature adjustment potmeter needs a tiny screwdriver and
manual lacks information on how to set it correctly (I guess it is only designed for ABS in the first place, and is factory adjusted to that temperature)
- it is almost impossible to remove the nozzle by hand - the clips are just way too rigid and hard to reach with bare hands. I did not try to push it as I was afraid it would break.

Pro:
- given the price tag, it seems decent built - we'll see how long it lasts
- fast heat-up (just 10-20 seconds, really)
- very light weight
- when releasing "forward" button, the feeder mechanism automatically rewinds a bit which means less overflow when not printing.

Not mentioned in documentation / should be emphasized more:
- to actually start heating up, you have to press forward (OK this one is mentioned)
- when you press the back button, nothing happens. Its when you release it, will make a step backward.

It might seem a gimmick at first, drawing 3d phalluses and other juvenile stuff. But this thing becomes extremely useful for creating and repairing parts. It uses 12v/3A power supply and is perfect to use with your 3S battery for field repairs.

It important to stock up on PLA, those three included filament are used up very quickly!

. The speed control button fell of the side very first time I used it, PLA will not work well. its needing heat control. and the constant Jamming with PLA makes it a Pain to use. ABS seams Ok . and Is best for this. BUT not good with PLA,. its constantly to feed through / soon as you stop it Jammed up and you need dismantle. Why Is it My speed control barley makes any difference. its Very cheap in that respect.. both units i got are the same. speed is not good to control flow ,and ripples effect with its motor pulse . causes Bad print.like shaky tho motor is the blame to the pulse making it tatty effect. ABS IS ALL ITS GOOD FOR> tho PLA will jam its still able to do the Job . tho Not stop with out Jamming,up

Bought one for my daughter as she is a little bit artsy fartsy, actually pretty good quality and although you would never build any large items its good fun and can see it being great for repairing plastic parts
