bright as frig and cheap as yogurt. also waterproof! mine bent a little, but it's still shining. submerged several times and numerous impacts. i use it as a frontlight in my rc car.

with 2s it is super bright, on 3s is it to much for my eyes and to hot for my model and on 3s it needs 7W! I think to much for a long live. Realy cool stuff. I love them and have 14 of them. On 3s I have 2 diodes bevor them, than is the temperature ok and my eyes going not blind.

I like these.. run at 9 volts DC.. or they will get much too hot. Need cooling at 11 volts. Pay attention to polarity. Some of the JST's are improperly wired

0.8A draw, 9.8W consumption on 3s. As others have stated, the JST connector is backward. The LED is labelled correctly, they just got a bad bin of connectors. Very bright! I got it for a 3D printer but it looks to be too much so I'll likely use one on the lower leading edge of each wing as landing lights for dark FPV flights. It will ABSOLUTELY NEED HEATSINKING or adequate air flow to keep it from overheating on 3s!

very bright at 12v, it will almost blind you! it gets too hot to touch in just a few seconds
tested at 7.6v (2s lipo) lights up decently and mildly bright, not hot. so i think about 9v should give it a good brightness without too much heat

ridiculously bright!!! by far the brightest of any LED i have ever purchased from hobby king.......seriously blinding........as well as get very very very hot.
