I have mine now for some time and i must say i,m very pleased about this plane! This plane handels very well but really needs flaps when landing. The quality is good and the foam is very strong. You have to watch out for tip stall whit this plane and you need to keep the power on when rolling the plane. Landings are fast but when done right easy. The landing gear is good except for the nose wheel. I broke it of on my first landing. It was,nt the landing that made it break, but the grass on the sides of the landing strip. Luckely it was a easy fix whit some tape and glue what made it even better and stronger. If you want to learn how to land but don,t want the plane to do every thing for you, this is the plane for you. To make it fly even better i have put 100gr in the nose because it was tail heavy. And if you open the box, beware it,s huge!

A lot more than I asked for, quality is good and easy to build. Looks and feels like a very strong and sturdy plane, I haven't had a fly yet because the weather here in Victoria has been pretty horrible so I will post another review and a video sooner than later hopefully. Thanks HobbyKing.

Truly beautiful plane. Nice finishing. Flies like dream. And the landing gear is not bad, just land like u should land with this big model.
It's fast too, but not too fast to keep the scale.
Good job HK!

Totally worth of your money!

plane just awful, this is my first plane and I think the last one. the total weight of sbatareey advised that more than 1450gr. removed the chassis thought it would be better but still not tal field of more than 3 minutes, then drop. crumpled hood torn front wing broke off the rudder. fixed thought may be the problem is with the battery, is too far behind, but moving the battery again did nothing, just managed awful! generally disappointed!

Had some initial issues with C.O.G due to battery located behind wing, solved by carving a tunnel between the battery bay and wing box area so battery can be slid forward. Put zip tie with long tail on battery so it can be pulled out of battery bay easily with wing installed. Also reinforced firewall with plywood and added ntm 3542 1000kv motor 11x6 2 blade prop. Have flown (and crashed) this plane a lot and it is very solid. still flies very well.

Took it out to the field for its maiden flight today on a sunny non-windy day. Considering the small wheels and fairings, it definitely is not happy taking off from moist grass but once aloft (hand-launched) it flew very well.
Elevator needed a bit of breaking in by hand to get the joint flexible. Out of the box, the light steering arms bent rather than the elevator going up, giving it too little throw.
Flying it is a breeze, CG was perfect with the proposed battery. Took just a little trimming to get it flying straight and level. Once done, it flew hands-off.
Sadly even after a very smooth landing, moist grass turned the nose wheel beyond the servo's reach resulting in dead rudder servo.

Nice little plane though. It looks good - the blokes at the field thought so too - and flies well. One to keep in the back of the car wherever you go.
