Im Prinzip tolles werkzeug, mitgelieferte Klinge ist einfach unterirdisch und muss direkt ersetzt werden, dazu ben?tigt man eine gute Rasierklinge und eine Dremel, danach einfach tollO my god 8 month 2016 and still as below.. good idea but holes not tapped down enough for screws provided. Cmon HK this is very poor, a little quality control or assemble them before you send them.No sirve, las barrenaciones para los tornillos estan mal hechas, no se puede armar y no sirve de nadaI love it mine worked great no problem with the screws . I use it on foamboard from dollartree stores Have built 7 planes so far using itThis is a pile of crap! Holes are not tapped deep enough so you cannot even assemble it properly. CS were not interested in me returning the 2 faulty products so in the bin they went. If you really want to give this a go, buy it off their eBay shop so you can return it without fuss when you find you can't use it.very fiddly to put together, but well made, would have been nice if there was a line or mark to show 45 degrees. had to put one on myself. works ok for putting a bevel on planking etc, dont buy it if you are the impatiant type, slow and steady is the way with this tool#1: No instructions. Had to use product photos on HK website.
#2: None of the holes are drilled/tapped deep enough, so none of the included screws fit tight. Hence, the tool cannot be assembled and used. Before I bought it, I read all the bad reviews, of course. So what? People always complain. It cannot be that useless, I thought, right?
This item is not just a joke, this is insult!
It cannot be in any use whatsoever!
Screws not just will not go through, but none of them would even fit to one of two holes on the main blade holder!
The only thing you can do is to epoxy parts together. However you will be better off epoxying blade to a plywood.
Stay a way of this item, trust people who took time to write a review.
If you bought it, request a refund. Does not matter it costs nothing. Matter of principle.
The quality of the item too far outrageous.Took a little bit of assembly as there is no instructions but a quick look at the Pictures on the web site and away we go. Build quality is pretty good two of the screw holes were not deep enough but a little machine oil and use of one of the longer screws soon had them tapped out deeper. only used on 6mm epp foam so far but performed as well as I expected it to.TOTAL SCRAP, screws not tapped deep enough. Chops its way though foam.
