A very high quality engine whos factory has only just finished development and testing.
The 45cc engine puts out  up to 7800rpm to give 3kw of power!
All engines come pre-tested and tuned from the factory. The factory that makes this motor is run by a big r/c enthusiest and he knows his engines.
This is no weed-whacker or modified scooter motor. It was built from the ground up to be a competative large scale R/C gas plane engine. Due to this, it has an excellent power to weight ratio, giving it the ability to be used for large scale 3D flight.
Unique and quality features which make this an outstanding engine are;
Walbro (Japanese) carburettor. Easy to tune, instant throttle response.
CNC Milled crank-case. Precise, light weight yet strong.
CNC Lathed prop shaft. Light weight yet strong.
Twin reed valves. A must have for powerful 2-stroke gas engines.
CDI system. Electrinic Ignition makes starting a breeze!

The exciting thing about gas motors such as this one, is that they improve with age, giving increased power output. Treated well, these engines will last for many years.

Spec.
Displacement: 45cc
Weight: 1584g
Carburettor: (Japanese Walbro) Diaphragm & Butterfly valve.
Prop Speed: 1700 ~ 7800rpm
Max power: 3kw
Suggested prop: 20x8, 20x10, 22x8 or larger
Ignition: DC-CD (6v)
Mixture: 25:1 to 40:1
Bore/Stroke: 43 x 31 mm
Size: 170mm long, 215mm wide, 215mm high (Including baffel)
Mount hole: 64mm x 64mm

This motor will suit most planes designed for a 30-50cc enigne. The motor is compact and light and will fit inside most cowls designed for these types of motors.

*Note.
All motors are tested, tuned and broken in for 15 minutes at the factory and will smell like gasoline when you receive it. This is normal.
We already stock a full range of parts, and will be listing them shortly.

I bought this engine about one year ago from HK but I kept it on the shelf. The engine replaced a Zenoah 26 cc. in my Big Dazzler (2,5, m. scratch-built from the GP Dazzler model). Engine started easily, I did not touch needles. I used 97 octanes gasoline and Bel Ray HR10 synthetic oil (40-1 mix), and 20x10 prop. Extremely reliable. Only time will tell about durabiliy. Arrived with slightly bent cooling fins which are black painted not natural ali cast as shown in the promotion picture. There is no blue anodising on the prop driver as shown either. Carb is NOT WALBRO but a Walbro copy. Spark plug thread in cylinder head is sloppy, plug will NOT seal on the compression washer leaving the engine useless.

I'm not a newbie to petrol engines I did not expect Zenoah quality but did expect it to be fit for purpose.

This is just a preliminary review since I just received my engine and haven't had a chance to start it yet. First of all, engine itself seems well manufactured, but the same cannot be said for the exhaust pipe, which is very "agricultural" in appearance. Welding marks have not been sanded and it screams "unfinished" all over. Instructions are written in "engrish" and are almost completely useless, tho in some parts they are unintentionally funny.
