The TGY52 Overbore is the same weight as the 45cc, however it has a larger piston, liner and crankcase giving it more capacity and thus more power. As the saying goes.. there is no replacement for displacement! All engines come pre-tested and tuned from the factory.

This is no weed-whacker or modified scooter motor, it was built from the ground up to be a competitive large scale R/C gas plane engine, because of this it has an excellent power to weight ratio, giving it the ability to be used for large scale 3D flight.

The exciting thing about gas motors such as this one is that they improve with age, giving increased power output. Treated well, these engines will last for many years.

Features:
• Japanese Walbro Carburetor which is easy to tune and has instant throttle response
• Lightweight and strong CNC milled crankcase
• Lightweight and strong CNC lathed prop shaft
• Twin reed valves, a must for powerful gas engines
• CDI electronic ignition system for easy starting

Specs:
Displacement: 52cc
Bore/Stroke: Unknownx31mm
Weight: 1584g
Carburetor: Japanese Walbro diaphragm with butterfly valve and manual choke
Prop Speed: 1700~7800rpm
Max power: Over 3.2kw
Suggested prop: 20x8, 20x10, 22x8 or larger
Ignition: CDI (6v)
Mixture: Gas/oil mixture (25:1 for breaking in, 40:1 for general use)
Size: 170mm long, 215mm wide, 215mm high (Including baffle)
Mount hole: 64mm x 64mm

This engine will suit most planes designed for 30~50cc engines. It is compact, light and will fit inside most cowls designed for these types of engines.

Please note:
All these engines are tested, tuned and broken in for 7 minutes at the factory and will smell of gasoline when you receive it, this is perfectly normal.
We already stock a full range of parts for this engine! Search for 'FTL52' parts in our search box or visit the gas engine parts category.

Please also note that we are shipping the new improved black head version.

I just bought my 4th TGY 52. This one has a different looking cyl. maybe new casting mold? It is gray that is ok but it has 45F 3D cast on the front of it. The others have 52 cast on them. Could this be a through back yo the old TGY 45 ? Any one know? That wouldn't be good if i ever need a cyl. or piston.

fantastic product this is my second the first one, slight issue ,making the engine run rough it was very easily sorted with another ignition module and by adjusting timing I found a good you tube video to help with this But for the money you really can't complain it's smooth on a carbon pipe it's very quiet and very powerful

- Choke komplett schlieen

- Zndung an

- Propeller drehen (ohne viel Kraft)

Super Motor springt super an. Viel Spass beim shoppen ;-)

I got my 52cc three days after ordering all the way from Washington to Orygun , packaged perfectly, It looked great. after about a month I finily got it mounted on my 27pcnt Ultimate Biplane. started up today, it started on the third flip after choking until gas came out the carb. It purrs like a loud kitten. after the second tank of gas the idle came down to around 1800 rpms, I think it will just keep getting better with every tank full. thanks HK. I also have a 30ccTurnigy in my 1/4 scale Cub that runs great, and a 50cc Turnigy in my 27pcnt EDGE that is beyond belief.
