The next generation FPV monitor is here, the Fieldview 777 SB.

With improved colour quality, better viewing angles, super bright display and 40 selectable channels including raceband, this monitor is a premium product for FPV users or any other form of videography.

Its super bright screen makes it great for outdoors and it has an LED backlit screen which is fully adjustable.  It is also supplied with its own foldable screen shroud for optimal viewing.

It has an in-built 5.8GHz A/V diversity receiver, allowing it to receive directly from your FPV model's A/V transmitter which negates the need for separate FPV goggles, but if you prefer to use goggles the Fieldview 777SB can also be used as a receiver for your goggles using the AV out port as well as a general display screen for others to view as you fly. The in built diversity receiver has Autoscan or Manual tuning functions available.

This model also has a built in digital video recorder alowing you to capture and record your flight video onto an SD Card up to 32Gb.

With an incredible 1000mcd/m2 brightness i doubt you can get something better. This Fieldview/Feelworld series has the maximum brightness available on the market, despite not having only 480px vertical resolution - check out and you will see all 600px screens have only max. 600mcd/m2. Probably more pixels gives less brightness IMHO. Checked in bright sunlight it is incredible compared to my other FPV/smartphone screens. The brightness is adjustable, but be aware that in contrast with other devices this adjustment affects only the analog signal to be displayed, the backlight intensity remaining the same!!! It can brighten the image content if it is too dark, but the overall visibility remains the same. On smartphones the same adjustment in fact adjusts the backlight intensity according to the lighting conditions. On this screen it remains always on maximum!
Having HDMI, too, I'm thinking to use it occasionally on my video cameras in outdoor shootings.
