The wires on the supplied harness do not match the camera, lucky it didnt get fried by putting12v into the signal wire. Had to cut and solder the wires.

The TX weighs 110g not 18g.

Image looks OK, but the camera could be better. The image transmission is effective, but no range test as yet.

apparently it goes further than my radio! hex copter fell from about 400 ft (max allowed altitude) after I went out of radio range, all most everything was destroyed. re-soldered a few things on this unit and it works great again! wow. but now i bought telemetry system for radio with a nice alarm warning. ps the higher the receiver (mine is about 10 ft off ground) the better the reception. thought the camera was pretty decent, and no jelly! love to hear how some iBcrazy's antennas improve distance on these if anyone has tried them

Just received the parcel in good condition.
Package opened and found to be in good condition.
Before plugging in i found the Plastic cap on camera connector is reversed. - Vout is reversed as compared to the supplied cable. just reversed and powered it on. by default it is on ch 3. picture quality is Good with 420 TVL camera module. plugged in for 1 hr and tx seems to be hot enough to touch. need additional small fan on top.
Query : tx shows 0,1,2,3 channel list only but product says 8ch tx. how and where are rest 4 channels?

This FPV camera works pretty well, but I cant give it 5 crowns just because I spend a LOT of time trying to figure out why the hell this thing didnt want to work: wrong wiring on camera battery connection. I couldnt believe this because Im not the first one with this issue, come on, just make sure it works properly before shipping!

Please notice that camera cable isn't correct, you must check the connector on the cable, the smaller one, the one that connects to the camera. You need to match the - with the black cable, the with the red cable and vout with the white cable. It works just fine after this.
I've also notice the transmitter releasing probably to much eat, will investigate more on this and will report back.

It works very well, but in deed, as some others said, there are 2 wires that needs to be swapped. The wire that goes to the camera has 3 colors (red , black -, and white VOUT). Red should be swapped with white. I have cut the wire to use the plugs and joined red with white and white with red. Now it works perfect. You don't need any special tools, just some isolation and a cutter/scissors.
With 2 cells lipo, the transmitter don't start. JST plug used by the transmitter is not common to the 3 cells LIPO's so be sure you have some plugs at hand.
I didn't made any range testing, but in house (concrete walls), I don't have any glitches!

I don't blame hobbyking for the cable because I happened to have another camera and pinout on the board fit the cables delivered by HK.
I guess there are 2 types of camera and the single mistake made by HK is the combo match, not the quality of the products.

The TX I got, has only 4 channels or 5. In the specs, it says 8 channels, but only 5 frequencies. Any how, it works perfect for the money.

Happy FPV everybody!
