    HobbyKing 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm ABS 1KG Spool (Brown P.732C)

    HobbyKing have come out with a huge new range of 3D Printer Filaments at prices that will have you printing all day and all night.

    The range covers PLA, ABS, Flexible, Color Changing, Luminous, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Acetal (POM), Metal Composite and even a water soluble filament for printing molds. So there is a filament for every project you have in mind. HobbyKing filaments have a stable melting point, good round shape and most importantly a 0.05mm uniform diameter tolerance for a consistent flow rate.

    ABS:

    ABS is a fantastic plastic for mechanical real world use prints where a durable item is required. It has some give under stress making it perfect for multirotor frames and gears. ABS also has a higher melting point making it more suitable for some applications.

    For printing with ABS it is recommended to have a heated print bed or Kapton Tape for proper bed adhesion. ABS can also have a slight odor when printing so a well ventilated room is recommended, please note that it has no odor when the print is finished.

    ABS is slightly harder to get dialed in unlike PLA, but once set up the printing is consistent and the prints are truly real world useable. Other popular uses for this material are R/C spare parts, building blocks and toys for the kids.

    Ziemlich gut, aber doch einiges heller als auf dem Bild

    Läßt sich gut verarbeiten und zieht keine Fäden. Toll ist, daß die Rollen versiegelt in einer schützenden Kartonage ankamen und daher auch eine längere Lagerung keine Probleme bereiten würden. Die Farbe ist etwas heller als auf dem Bild und entspricht eher einer helleren Vollmilchschokolade.
    Preis-Leistung: top!

    Good ABS for the money

    Seems to be ok for "everyday printing", but if you need precise prints you probably need to go with something more expensive.
    The color is not 100% uniform throughout the printed parts and it seems to have some more stringing problem than more expensive filaments.
    I also tested glueing printed parts together with Acetone and the smoothing process, which is also not the best.
    It feels like the material is not 100% ABS, but could be just different ABS than the ones I used before, not sure.
    But overall can't beat what you get for the price :)
