    HobbyKing 3D Printer Filament 1.75mm ABS 1KG Spool (Solid Green)

    HobbyKing have come out with a huge new range of 3D Printer Filaments at prices that will have you printing all day and all night.

    The range covers PLA, ABS, Flexible, Color Changing, Luminous, Nylon, Polycarbonate, Acetal (POM), Metal Composite and even a water soluble filament for printing molds. So there is a filament for every project you have in mind. HobbyKing filaments have a stable melting point, good round shape and most importantly a 0.05mm uniform diameter tolerance for a consistent flow rate.

    ABS:

    ABS is a fantastic plastic for mechanical real world use prints where a durable item is required. It has some give under stress making it perfect for multirotor frames and gears. ABS also has a higher melting point making it more suitable for some applications.

    For printing with ABS it is recommended to have a heated print bed or Kapton Tape for proper bed adhesion. ABS can also have a slight odor when printing so a well ventilated room is recommended, please note that it has no odor when the print is finished.

    ABS is slightly harder to get dialed in unlike PLA, but once set up the printing is consistent and the prints are truly real world useable. Other popular uses for this material are R/C spare parts, building blocks and toys for the kids.

    Prints perfectly fine

    Prints perfectly fine, results are even better than my PLA prints. On a Creality CR10s with glue stick at 230 C and 95 C print bed temperature unenclosed. Zero warping, good layer adhesion.

    I got worse prints with this one than with the white ABS (HobbyKing brand), with more stringing, not sticking to the bed enough and more warping.
    Still, for this price, good filament and perfect for everyday prints.

    Bright green filament

    This is a bright green colored filament, which is what I wanted. I don't know if I would consider it florescent green, but in the daylight it is bright. I was able to print it at 245C and 100 C bed temp on an unenclosed i3 style printer. I used a brim and had no warping. However the part was not very large (about 5 cm by 3 cm).
